For Me??

I feel all warm and fuzzy like. My friend who just started the band out in Nevada dedicated a song to me the other night. It was "I wont' forget you baby" by Poison. He dedicated it to "Jeannie" (that's me) his "anam cara" (soul friend). Awwwwwwwww....i wanna cry!!!!!!!!!! And the really cool thing is, HE sang it. Normally, he's a lead guitarist, and NEVER sings (he has an odd range)..but this one night, he sang lead vocals, on the song he dedicated to me. I was SOOOOOOOO touched.

AWWWWWWWWWW.....that is sooooooo sweet! What is it about Poison songs??? I had a song dedicated to me when I was about nineteen by my then-almost-ex-boyfriend. Every Rose Has its Thorn...lol...let me tell you, I felt like sinking into a hole and not coming out till he got over it :rolleyes: I suppose it wouldn't have been too bad if we'd been like high school sweethearts or something (I actually married my high school sweetie), but this guy was twenty-six and just way too intense for me.

Now that I've drifted completely off the subject....

That is very special. I once dedicated a song to one of my ex'es, though I don't remember which: Only the lonely - The Motels. It was while stationed in Germany. I sang it - I know, A GUY. That was one of the greatest nights (I never slept) of my life.
