Okay..I'm pissed off right now...I was sittin here messin around on the computer and the tv has been on in the background for awhile..This show comes on..its like one of those christian prayer shows, and they were talking about like the passion of the christ and they said some lady was like i hope the world turns against the jews..that was just pretty fu**ed up..then they start talking about homosexuals and civil rights. All these 'African Americans' are getting pissed off cuz the 'homosexuals' are claiming that their lifestyle is a civil right and theyre comparing it to the end of slavery and the 50's, 60's and 70's and all that.
Okay I'm not gonna say that its as bad as it was with them..Slavery was horrible and all, and alot of people died in the last century because they were black but hundreds of gay kids get the shit beat out of them everyday because theyre gay or they might be gay or even kids who have gay friends... Alot of people have died just because these people are so afraid that guys will hit on them or that the gay will rub off on them or whatever the hell theyre so afraid of. If someone finally finds the one person theyre supposed to be with for the rest of their lives then who are these people to say that its wrong.. Its not like gay people are running around naked, screwing eachother in peoples yards like dogs or anything. I really just dont understand whats wrong with them..I mean what religion should give you the right to hate and dispise people you havent even ever met, or hate the people you love because of what makes them happy
AAHHHHHH:grrrrr:
Alright..sorry, just had to get all of that out. Im done now

Funny thing about hate. People tend to hate for two reasons: Because they don't understand what something is, and that scares them, or because of something they fear they may see inside themselves. Or at least that's what I've seen in my experience. :hrmm:

FEAR:

I have committed the sin of fear.

I have lost my way.

I am lost because of a child who made me fear.

I will not say that I fear, and yet I still do.

Because I may not voice my fear, I will hate instead.

I hate because I fear.

I fear because I do not understand.

I do not wish to understand.

Because if I did, I could no longer hate.

I was watching the news a few weeks ago and they were talking about the ban against gay marriage, and there were these Christians picketting and holding up signs that said "God hates sinners"

That really upset me because correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Jesus died for sinners? This was like just after I'd seen The Passion of the Christ So it just stuck with me.

God hates sinners

No, I think "God" hates the people who actually believe that. . .

That sort of reminds me of a sign I saw once on a church's marquee sign : "God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts." :p

*snort* Dex! dont do that when I have food in my mouth! I have to wash my screen now!.

God hates sinners

God doesn't hate sinners, he loves everyone, he just doesn't like the sin.

Funny thing that.

Ever read Gensis 19:30 where our dear friend Lot there, well his two daughters got him drunk on wine and made him have sex with them. Does this mean that God is all for incest and sex without proper concent?

Colossians 3:22 and 1 Petere 2:18 both say that keeping slaves is ok and that the slaves should respect their master even the perverse ones. Does that mean god thinks we should still have slaves?

Not to forget in Romans 13 it clearly says that resistance to governing authority is equivalent to rebellion against God. But how many Christians are going to say that the founders of the United States sinned by rebelling against Britain (a governing authority) in the war of independence?

In Exodus 35:2 clearly states that those who work on the Sabbath should be put to death. So should I be killed for having a Sunday job since I am technically going against God's work.

Deut 22:28-29 In which it says that if a girl is raped she must marry her raptist regardless of her own wishes. Does this mean that rape victims today who are christain must also marry whoever rapes them?

Lev. 21:17-24 makes it very clear that those with a variety of disabilities are not welcome to approach the altar of God. Verse 20 specifically mentions any defect or "blemish" in one's vision. Does that mean that since I need to wear glasses I'm not allowed near the altar of God? What about disabiled people, isnt this discrimination?

Lev. 11 talks about the food we are and arent allowed to eat. Permitted are cloven-hooved cud-chewing animals such as cows and lambs (v.3); forbidden are cloven-hooved non-cud-chewing animals (camels, etc.); additional animals prohibited as meat include rabbits (v.6), pork(v.7). Verses 8-9 specify that fish with fins and scales are permitted, but all other seafood (specifies both seas and rivers) is an abomination. This means we cant eat shrimp, crabs, lobsters, or oysters?
