is there a connection??

Ok, so I'm not pagan, really not much of anything right now, but am open to many things so maybe this is why I'm not sure if there is a connection with all of this. Please comment.

Wednesday, my boyfriend & I went to a little massage therapy place downtown. When we came out I mentioned to him that my masseur had mentioned auras, reiki, etc...he said that his was masseur had told him that she was into Wicca.
Now, my step-aunt runs her own massage place in another town, I've visited her place a few times, she's really into crystals, astrology, and even does aura picture taking.

Obviously there are different types of massage places but the ones that are privately owned, moderately priced, and don't offer pedicures are the ones that I love going to the most. Its obvious that I learn so many different things about my body, energies, and whatnot....has this been a connection that I have been missing all these years?

Sounds like it to me. Things of a similer nature tend to attract one another, including people.

I don't know if it's something you missed, or something that's just gaining in popularity b/c ppl have actually figured out that IT WORKS. One of the larger spas in downtown Denver offers Reiki massage, and I just saw a show on the Travel Channel (I think it was anyway) on the top spas around the country, and a show on FitTV, too showing a couple of spas, that offer stone massages, aura work, reiki, aromatherapy, and even chakra balancing (using singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, etc.) Also, I've found in my work (insurance) a lot of new wholistic healing clinics opening up now.

Seems that word's gotten out that sometimes it's not your body that's all messed up so much as your energy.
