This spread can help you to make things happen!!!
Shuffle the deck, laying cards 1-3 face up and 4-7 face down, following the diagram above.
Card 1: This card represents inspiration, seizing the lightning, gifts from above.
Card 2: This card represents the change the inspiration goes through, the transformation through you; process.
Card 3: This card is the manifestation, the final form it takes out in the material world.
When you have read the first 3, turn the other four over.
Cards 4-7 represent the ingredients you can draw on to make this happen. You can read them as gifts from the four elements, or another way if that makes more sense. (Once when I did this the four cards laid themselves out perfectly in a series of past experiences!) If you read them elementally:
Card 4: Earth, or Pentacles, material gifts, gifts of the body.
Card 5: Air, or Swords, intellectual gifts, decisions and clarity and discernment.
Card 6: Water, or Cups, emotional gifts, intuitive knowledge, gut feelings.
Card 7: Fire, or Wands, gifts of passion and drive and life! That which you love and are driven towards.
.... Try it out and see what happens :D

Another interesting spread! I chose to do a reading on my final exam I have tomorrow.
1. 8 of Pentacles
2. Knight of Swords
3. Queen of Swords
8 of Pentacles points to creative forces coming to light as well
latent talents and hidden resources.
The Knight of Swords suggests a strong fight, holding a sword high while riding an excited steed dancing over a coiled dragon.
The Queen of Swords suggests to me the outcome will be favourable (she is holding a sword while a protective dragon coils around her throne)
4. Page of Pentacles
5. The Chariot
6. 7 of Cups
7. Ace of Staffs
The Page of Pentacles suggests to me that I take my time and be positive. The Chariot suggests again that I stay positive (I will reach this goal!). The 7 of Cups suggests that I keep my emotions in check, try not to worry about them too much. The Ace suggests I take my time (it depicts a tree with a unicorn standing beside it and a big hill at the top of which is my castle). There are two waxing moons and two full moons which suggest to me that I'm well on my way but there is still work to do.

Ha! :D I was waiting for that, thanks! I was thinking about doing it anyway, wouldn't have been too much different except that I would have put the 1-2-3 cards straight across. I knew you'd realize soon.

I really like the spread on this and the cards I got for my business.
1) King of Wands (Fire) ~ My Fire God Apollo looking down on me, inspiring me. My own drive is a male energy I feel too so this fits!
2) 8 of wands (Action) ~ This is great for the process as it is a real action card, fighting, flying through the air ~ this is the card that I need to keep in my head at the moment.
3) Sacrifice (the Hanged Man) ~ I need to put more time into my work and stop fidning excuses to take time out. I also need to work harder!
4) The Star ~ This is saying I can do anythign I put my mind too, have hope, new hope, new start, new inspiration. Follow my dreams, chase my star.
5) 10 of Swords (Disillusion) ~ Oh no! Air! I need to stop doing this to myself and take action, start working hard again, put myself into it 100% and stop dwelling on the effort.
6) The Druid (Hermit ~ I think!) ~ Believe in myself, trust myself and know that I can do anything. I am successfull and can be even more if I just put my mind to it.
7) 9 of Discs (Gain) ~ My material side, I want it all, success, family, fun, friends and a man! Who doesnt?!

Hi all, do you think Jesus was an illusionist or performed actual miracles? I honestly do not know if Jesus may or may not have existed, that remains to be seen when actual evidence arises. My question was to receive general perspectives...but no one has answered my other question...why was his first miracle related to wine and partying? I need your opinion?

I am not sure how to take the first card though in the terms of inspiration other then I do use alot of the pain from my past to fuel my art and writing...

I kind of saw that as coming to the end of something, perhaps overcoming writer's block.. or any obstacles that were preventing you from being creative. The time for obstacles is past now. Does that make sense?

Coming to an end was a secondary thought but due to the explanation with card one I was not sure.
As for writers block in sometime all my novel projects are coming along great as well as my tarot book.
I think the obstacles is this house and the people in it who do not help out with their chores, a pre-teen with attitude and my mom ... and not to mention flooding in our kitchen. As a result no time for anything creative cause I am to tired.
But for the past two weeks I have been waiting for this week because I promised myself some writing time and have certain goals to meet since my SO is not here it does make a difference getting this done :) And I am also working on eliminating nay other distractions from my creative projects :D
So yes your thoughts on the matter do make sense to me :D
Now off I go to type :D

This was a great spread, thanks for sharing it.
1) Knight of Wands-My gift is that of inspiration, intuition, creativity. The Knight tells me I need to go for it, trust my intuition.
2) 5 of Wands-The change the gift goes through is a result of me fighting that gift. I've always had a problem with this particular gift. I don't trust it. I tried drawing, through everything away because it wasnt' perfect. I'm coming to trust my intuition through Tarot. But sometimes I still don't trust what the cards tell me.
3) Page of Wands-the manifestation of this gift is still in it's infancy, the potential is there to grow into something important if I nurture it and work with it.
4) 5 of Swords-I see this as relating to my expectations of myself. I'm one of those people that if I don't do something perfectly the first attempt, I give up. I need to make sure I don't have such big expectations and take small steps
5) 9 of Cups-I think this is telling me to enjoy satisfying the senses-feed them-it's food for not only my soul, but for the gift also. Embrace sensuality.
6)Knight of Cups-Boy did this one hit me where I live. I'm so afraid of love. Almost convinced that at my age, love is not going to appear. And as the Knight is known as The Lover, I see this as a romantic love, a partner. I've been getting hints he's coming for a couple of years now, but sometimes I doubt, I mean, I'm older than dirt! I need to open my heart to love, it's the gate to my creative nature.
7)10 of Swords-I need to get rid of old rigid ways of thinking-not more telling myself "I can't"
This was pretty powerful for me. I wasn't expecting to get so much. Wow.

If you don't mind me asking, could you please explain a bit about the diagram and how it relates to the Magician? Thanks.

Go ask that question at the "Christian Witchcraft" forum, which is under "Path-Specific forums".
