What makes you smile for no apparent reason? What comes to mind when you picture something happy?
Cookie dough. Always have to make a double because everyone wanders into the kitchen for a taste.
Working on cars with my dad. One time both of us scraped out knuckles at the same time. Hard for yer old man to say 'suck it up' when he's holding his own fingers. :hehehehe:
Watching one cat try to be graceful infront of the other one, then tripping over his own feet.

Waking up at 4 in the morning to go potty and being assaulted by all of my kittens. . .who then follow me to my bedroom and curl up with me. . .sweet little purring furrballs of death and destruction. . .
Looking into my husband's crystal blue eyes. . .
Seeing my daughter trying on her wedding dress. . .(this one makes me cry, too)
Tons of stuff. . .thinking about my dad who died last August and remembering how he was. . .and how I am soooo much like him (that is scary, guys)
Thinking of my grandson. . .and how sweet he is
Seeing the trees move gracefully in the Gulf breeze
rainstorms
just about anything can do it, really. . .

seeing my garden spring up this year
watching my hubby play with our boys
the beach
lightning
the smell of bread baking
when I hear that special ring tone on my phone (set for my bestest friend in the whole wide world)

Seeing other people laughing. That always does it to me, even if I don't know what's so funny.

I'm definitely with Klucks there! And looking in my boyfriend's face, because there's just that--laughter--in his eyes, always.

hehe When I got married, my mom wrote me this beautiful poem (I have it buried in my scrapbook somewhere, otherwise I'd share it) all about how her happiest moment was helping her baby put on her wedding dress. Just thinking about it makes me all teary. :) Thanks for reminding me of that.
Catching my boyfriend staring at me. I used to hate it with my exes, but when he does it, it makes me feel beautiful, not creeped out.
When I see a picture of a cute kitten. I love them so much.

Let's see, being outside in nature makes me happy.
When my dog jumps up on the bed in the morning and licks me until I get up annoys me but makes me smile at the same time.
Sleeping in!

Hmm..this is tough. I'm not really one for happy things but:
Thunderstorms.
Lightining.
Seeing my parents happy.
A good joke.
Remembering the good times in ones life.

Driving. Alone or with my best friend or boyfriend, but just driving. Knowing that I have somewhere to go. Or just driving around trying to get lost.
Seeing my best friend smile. For the past few months she wasn't smiling very much, but now she is.
Making people laugh. I love being funny.
Having a really good discussion with somebody (on something arguable, politics, foreign policy, moral issues)
Helping someone.
