Not done a reading in a while

I haven't done a reading for someone in quite a while, baisically because i've been feeling very tired lately, alot has been going on, and i either haven't got the time or it just isn't appropraite. How often do you read tarot? I have been giving myself the odd few readings with the deck a special friend gave me, which has been helpful when i've needed it, but do you think my other decks feel left out in some way? Any thoughts are appreciated :)

I read every few days...I try not to depend on my tarots 'answers' but sometimes its very difficult :)...I have a friend who reads hers at least once a day, if not more! Sometimes I think thats a bit overthe top....but it is her passion so I say if thats what you like to do, than do it!:D

Oh i never read them everyday, usually just if im going somewhere and i know the day may be hard for me to deal with (because of my S.A.D) so i turn to my cards for guidance :)

Oooohhh i totally know thats not was you was implying hon :) I was just simply explaining how i've been reading my cards recently and how often.. i knew your previous post wasn't trying to say thats what i do :lol:

That sounds exactly like me! There can be a time when i'll go for about 4 weeks reading the cards everyday for different people, then i suddenly calm down dramatically and only read for myself every 2-4 weeks....

I guess I'm a bit chaotic when it comes to this.. heh

At first I was all jump in and get my feet wet.. err. soaked... Then it faded and I set the cards away for several months. Then I jumped back into it again... only this time to go through a real serious collecting phase. Before this past Yule I backed away for several weeks. After the new year I found a deck that I have been working with and haven't found the need really to buy buy buy. So now I try to do a daily reading. I don't do a full blown reading so to speak but every now and then. I find the daily draw and journaling to be err.. peaceful in a way. I also like to compare decks now and study up on the history of the different decks.

I guess I just hit the serious side, or so it feels. *shrugs* :)

I'm in a Sacred Circle study group over at aeclectic....so that's pretty much all I've been doing for the past month.

Oh, I did do a reading over there and it went very well! And I'm waiting for 3 decks to arrive ~ been in a collecting phase myself. I'm ready to end the collecting phase! But I've only paid $8 for 3 decks (from different people) so I can't get yelled at! :lol:

$8 for 3 decks!!!! you lucky thing :) I've calmed down loads with my collecting phase, purely because i don't feel as though im giving my cards as much attention as they deserve right now... but knowing me, when i have the money, i'll start collecting again :lol:

amberwolf sent me healing with the fairies, and it is amazing! So accurate, and i have the closest bond with it :) so let me know how tarot of the old path reads for you!

Old Path was my very first deck...the one Savannah used for a teething toy when she was a baby. The only card to survive the slobber was the Empress, which I have framed on my altar. I don't remember how it read back then, mainly b/c I didn't know what I was doing!

I have Healing with the Fairies too!!!

sorry to jump in here but, as I just bought this deck I'm so excited about it sad I know :lol: and want to know everything about it!! :D

I was told you can select a card each morning and ask how your day is going to be or chosse one in the morning and then when you get home read the card to see how acurate it was. Have any of youdone that?
