I've just been thinking recently... sometimes I think I talk too much and don't listen enough. So I wanted to try a simple excercise wherein I keep my trap shut for a week. I think this would apply to typing/posting as well, but I guess I just wanted some clarification. Anyone?

Yup I think typing/posting would count as communicating...

It would depend on what limits you placed on your "vow of silence."

Thanks. :) I think I'll have to make one or two exceptions, but other than that.... no posting from me for a week. Just journal writing. <firm nod>

Hmmm...
A <Firm nod> is communicating as well...

EP-- I didn't really want to have limits. I'd like to get the whole experience, soak up what I can without speaking before I think. There are a few emails I'll have to answer, but other than that I'm a lurker.
So I start now. If anyone posts a reply after this, please know that I'm not ignoring you; I'm reading everything. :)
Wish me luck! :)

Good Luck Sweety!! I am proud of you and keeping my fingers crossed that you don't go nuts. I know I would never last a week...or even an hour for that matter. I am sure Mol can attest to that!! We will miss your words but know that you are here. Talk to ya in a week!!!

I wish you the best, Loopy! I've been accused of not thinking before I talk, or talking too much too. . . perhaps I should try it?. . . 8O yeah right I wouldn't last a day hehe.
But I admire you for your determination!! ^__^ good luck!
