:( went to a movie yesterday with mom and sis since we never spend time all of us together, had a great time, skipped out to our car and someone had broken in and stolen my phone and all my credit cards, id, etc.....it wasnt in view, but i shoulda brought it in :(
now its gonna cost us 200 dollars to fix my moms car (which we dont have to spend) and have to buy a new phone :( *sigh*

Cloakster, that really sucks!!!! :hairraise My old car was broken into twice outside the house we used to live in (we moved after the 2nd breakin). :rolleyes: The second time, they totally vandalized the car by cutting up upholstery, putting cigarrettes out on the door panels and the dashboard, etc. I was so furious! But I also felt violated, just like KHC said. How dare they do that to you? Grrr....

I hope the police find these people and they get what they deserve. Sending you lots of warm wishes and love and hugs! :hugz: Sorry this happened........

Aw, sorry hun. I can't say that I had a bad easter my self. I had a fairly good one. I went mall shopping and got 2 DVD's for easter as a gift then we went to visit friends and then I got some garden ornaments from my mother inlaw as an easter gift and we went to my mother inlaws for easter dinner. I hope your days brighten :)

My mom and grandmother (only living grandparent, mom's mom) were here all weekend, to celebrate Easter with me. Unfortunately, I don't really get along with them well at all. I get along with my dad really well, so a visit from him would have been fun, but he stayed back home with my younger brother this time.

I spent all weekend having to be someone I'm not, and with the worry of being disowned hanging over my head at all times. They don't know I'm pagan, and they don't know I pretty much live with Andrew (mcc on MW). They WOULD pull all my college tuition if they found out. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.

My tuition check was two WEEKS late, my registration got dropped, and I had to reregister the year Andrew and I got engaged. All because mom doesn't care much for his archetype. (he's a quiet longhaired computer geek; she wants me with a popular, friendly, outgoing, "all american" boy.) It took her that long for dad to talk sense into her that it wasn't worth throwing my future away for. (We'd been dating 2 years at the time and NEVER intended to marry before college was out... not like we eloped 3 weeks after meeting).

This weekend, among getting lectures about my "attitude" and most of my mannerisms, behaviors, and emotional reslonses, I got a *30 minute* lecture about two of my friends, from both women. "Well, K&M seem like really nice kids... but I am really disappointed in them... they're living together and they're not married, and that's just really wrong. I'm not sure you should hang out with them anymore... they might be a bad influence on you, and it just concerns me a lot... "

This of course upset me, because a) at 22 I'm old enough to pick my own friends! and b) they seem to think that I'm *that* easily influenced by others that I don't have the emotional fortitude to make my own decision.

I don't know... I'm just miffed and blowing off steam. Every time I spend time with them, I feel like a horrible, immoral, dirty human being who's throwing away her life... they somehow inspire that much guilt in me.

I think I"m gonna stop talking now.

I am sooooo sorry this happened Cloak. . .what is this world coming to? Punks everywhere. Someone broke into my daughter's car and stole her stereo and did about $1000 worth of damage trying to tear out the back seat. . .all of this while the alarm was blaring. . .no one saw anything. . .and in broad daylight in a well populated area. . .

I am sending you warmth and hugs!!! Bless you and your family. I am glad you got to spend time together. It is a blessing that none of you were hurt.

My Nanuk has something wrong with his left hip and the vet can't see him until Wednesday. So I've had to stay really close to home because he can't do stairs right now.

Yea I went home for Easter weekend (my family is Catholic) found out I have been feeling bad becuae I have bronchitis. Then I spent the weekend in the middle of WWIII. My sis is being her typical materialistic self.... complaining becuase she had to spend Easter with the family and had to eat dinner with us instead of going over to her bf's. She threw a fit about that.. among other things. I mean she JUST got back from a week in Finland with her choir.. a trip mom paid for, and shes asking for more stuff and isn't satisfied. She should consider herself lcuky. I was never able to do things like that. Well anyway. They were all screaming at eachtoher. Waking me up at all hours of the night. Then I would get screamed at just becuase I was there. My sister spent the whole weekend trying to recruit me to her side so I did not get one moments peace when all I wanted to do was be left alone in my room in the basement with my electric blanket, cat, and a glass of tea. My weekend pretty much sucked.
