Being an Oregonian [Boy does THAT sound like an alian lifeform!]:crazy: I can tell you that there is less humor in that than meets the eye. Thanks to the lack of foresight by our neighbors down south, I am looking at an electric rate increase of 40-60% this winter!!!!:bad: :mad:

Don't blame the energy crisis on California. California is a part of the problem, but the problem rests within the entire western transmission grid. For instance, California's electrical use has gone up 3-4% in the last 10 years, while Nevada and Arizona have increased usage by 15-20%.

And, we have our own power sources, my family that is. Six solar panels adorn our roof and power our house, :).
