Ooo lets go all deep now!
This spread is for helping to know the intuitive mind, the deep deep ocean below.
Shuffle the deck and lay out the cards as below.
Cards 1, 2, and 3 represent the deepest ocean of the unconsious mind, and can represent dreams you've had recently, synchronicity and coincidences, inner wisdom, and/or symbols and themes current in your life. There is no order to these, and no judgments are made here; these things just are. Rely on your intuition for these cards especially.
Cards 4 and 5 are nearer to the surface, though still under it; you are more conscious of these currents, but their roots are deep.
Card 4: This is the shadow aspect of things, the dark.
Card 5: This is the light aspect of things, to balance the dark. Cards 4 and 5 should be in balance and harmony; if they are not, take it as a sign that some work may be needed towards that.
Card 6: This card is at the surface of the water, where the unconscious and conscious meet; this is how all the previous cards relate to events in your life.

The funny thing is as I was shuffling I thought to myself "the Death card is going to come up I know, always changes happening", and the first card I pulled was Death. I am so not surprised :)
Anyways, I switched back to my Faerie Oracle for this since I haven't used them for a few days.
1.death
2.mikle a muckle
3.the glanconer
4.sylvanis
5.Tobaira of the waters
6.the sage
Death is always "changes coming" for me. I always get very clear warnings for even the smallest changes. Mikle looks mischievious and looks playful, I imagine he suggests that I remind myself not to think so much and be so serious ALL the time. I tend to forget this :) Glanconer made me think of lust immediately - whether it be lust for wealth or physical lust. Lust tends to get in the way of clear thinking so I think it's important somewhere in my life that I keep that in mind. He suggests to be very careful of something, but I'm not sure what yet.
Sylvanis reminds us to pay attention to truth. And that new truths about ourself are being seen - very true right now for me. Until very recently I was worried I'd never be able to finish school and that I was incompetent in my work because it was such a struggle. Tobaira is beautiful and thoughtful; water reminds me of change again as well as accepting it gratefully. Again some sort of changes that are going to happen in my life - she often points to changes in health or emotion. I don't like that, I have my annual doc's appointment next week. Hm.
Finally, the Sage. He represents mysticism to me as well as ancient wisdom. This suggests the need for "deep consideration and refined judgment applied with compassion and mercy". Which is interesting, as I was thinking "wow I'm going to have to take some time to think about this" before I read that bit.
Everything came very clearly to me in this reading and I found it fascinating. Thanks!

Ok buddy...since you never told me what, if anything specific you desired in a reading I chose for you. muhaha!!!
I chose this spread because our last conversation face to face was regarding visions...I thought this would be appropriate. I realise you aren't very familiar with tarot cards so I will provide a link for you that has pics of the cards I am using for this reading.

It is simple to use...just click on the name of the card you want to see!!! Here we go...now be nice to me when you reply!!! ;)
The High Priestess!
This spread is for helping to know the intuitive mind, the deep deep ocean below.
Card #1: The Tower: "and the walls came tumblin down...I said the walls..." Oh sorry...song que ya know?! Ok take a look at this card and see what it says to you. After all your own intuition will be stronger than any reading I can give you. I think that is the whole point of this spread anyway. Can you tell this is my first time to do this one??? Guinea pig!! Anyway I interpret this card usually as a sort of violent upheaval. Not necessarily a bad thing. just a definate bold gesture to get your attention. There is a change occuring, (considering the position I would guess on a spiritual level??) and this change could likely cause you to re-think your life and how you veiw it. You may have your life in order, but this card tells me you have had some questions in a certain area that you are working out in your head currently. An awakening of the mind of sorts.
Card #2: The Magician: Another major...hhhhmmmm. Ok basic interp of this card, here we are shown a man who stands before an alter of sorts. On this alter we see all of the tools of the magician, which coincidentally, make up the four suits of this tarot deck. They each possess a certain quality if you will, that is necessary for magik. There is a lesson to be learned from each. Now this man is standing with one hand, holding a wand, pointed upward and the other hand pointing toward the ground. I like to call him the lightening rod as he is the perfect conduit for energy from above. He is open to recieve whatever his higher power gives to him, yet he is also grounded. Rather than holding it all in, he gives it back to the earth and to others he encounters. So this awesome energy is able to flow freely through him. If he were to hold it all in he would explode...so to speak. Thus making him, obviously, no longer able to recieve further gifts, ie visions and healing energy. This is also a card of conscious awareness vs. unconscious. The magician is deliberately making things happen. In light of this position being about subconscious areas, I would guess that it hasn't quite surfaced to your conscious mind yet. Don't supress it. You have to be aware and focused to manifest the wonder that is the magician. Very cool card for this position. A reminder...always stay grounded.
Card #3: Four of Swords: Another great card for this position. This card shows a man sleeping peacefully with three swords on the wall above him and one laying underneath him. This is a basic meditation card. There is no action necessary as guidance is sure to come to you soon. This card does fall into line easily with the other two drawn for this position. A brief summary...Something has made you aware of changes needed or they are happening despite of yourself...again I think on the spiritual level. You are open to recieving the gifts from above and you are needing to wait and reflect on these newfound ideas. I would love to be inside your head when you meditate!
Cards 4 and 5 are nearer to the surface, though still under it; you are more conscious of these currents, but their roots are deep.
Card 4: This is the shadow aspect of things, the dark.
Card #4: The Eight of Cups: We see a cloaked figure, similar to the hermit, walking away from a row of standing cups. They are not spilled or damaged in any way. The cups symbolize a situation that has in the past and in fact continues to give much pleasure and happiness. Yet the figure realises when it is time to move on before the situation deteriorates. A sort of self preservation. He is headed for higher ground, again like the hermit. To reach greatness and wisdom we often have to put away worldly pleasures. So enough with all the cheap booze and loose women sir!!! LOL!!! J/K!!! Seriously though, if you feel the call to leave behind an area in your life to seek a higher knowledge, I suggest you heed it, if not the things you enjoy can likely turn sour right before your eyes. If your soul is seeking something it will find it eventually. I feel like a chapter straight out of The Celestine prophecy!!
Card 5: This is the light aspect of things, to balance the dark.
Card #5: Ace of Wands: Woo-Hoo!!! The beginning of an adventure. The card shows a hand emerging from the clouds holding a wand. The leaves fall from the limb and form Yods, the first letter of God's name. You should percieve this as a gift from the devine. Nothing we can do morally causes us to deserve this honor. It is simply a gift. We are chosen to embark on this journey. You are the chosen one son!!! LOL!!! Seriously, this is a great balance for the eight of cups, which is somewhat negative because you are to leave behind something that gives you pleasure now. But, I venture it will be well worth any sacrifice you make.
Cards 4 and 5 should be in balance and harmony; if they are not, take it as a sign that some work may be needed towards that.
Card 6: This card is at the surface of the water, where the unconscious and conscious meet; this is how all the previous cards relate to events in your life.
Card #6: The page of Wands: The wands themself indicate beginnings. We see a young man about to start a new journey...hhhmmm where have we heard this before??? He can symbolize the time when we begin to experience life just for life...free of any pressure. This card can represent a time in our lives when we announce to the world or perhaps ourselves that we are ready to begin a new phase in life. Or on a more basic level he can represent a messenger we will come across.
Just a note on the Yods...they have shown up in two cards in this reading...The Tower and the Ace of Wands. I would say...*smack* pay attention to this. This is no coincidence. As for the Yods on the Tower, which I failed to address earlier, I see them as falling gracefully amidst the rubble of the crumbling tower. They are a sure sign that whatever upheaval has occured was the will of The Divine. There is no need to question the origin of this stirring you experience now.
Ok thats it...now you can pick it apart at your leisure!
