Hi everyone!
My name is Tiara, I'll be 19 and I'm from Malaysia. I found this forum through a Google search and it seems very interesting so far!
I've been interested in Paganism for quite a while now, but it's been really on and off. Recently I have started a new phase in life - I just entered college two months ago - and I've suddenly found the yearning for a spiritual awakening. So I guess now would be a good time to start research :)
I'm also very interested and intriguied in the concept of Otherkin, and of Indigo/Crystal children, they just make too much sense to me...I would consider myself a faerie-kin and a Indi-Crystal child. Complicated, I know, but it makes sense to me at least :)
Bats are my spirit animals, I guess...they just came out of the blue after a discussion with my closest friend (who is also my role model, inspiration, angel, and a very good spiritual advisor!). My nickname is DivaBat - the Diva comes from one of our favourite books, "I Am Diva". It's hilarious.
I'm looking for a patron deity to guide me through my spiritual process...for some reason I am quite drawn to Lilith, but her demoness past and her dark nature quite scare me to be honest! I don't know why I'm so drawn to her, but I know I'm not ready yet. Maybe once I get enough strength :)
Speaking of goddesses...just today I did a little meditation I found about Aphrodite. I felt so much energy, it wa amazing :) Anyway, part of the meditation involves meeting the people in your life and showering them with Love and Light. One of those people was a dear friend who I had hoped to be more than friends with, but couldn't. (long story) Right after the meditation, he called me to chat. And he doesn't usually do that. Hmm.
Any and all guidance in regards to spiritual awakenings, or Paganism in general, is much appreciated. Hope to hear from all of you soon! :)
