a little introduction from me to you all.

Well My name is Caren, I have two beautiful children. I have been searching my whole life to fullfill this empty void inside of me that naws at my soul day by day slowly taking me deeper into confusion. It has been a long journey and yet I am here finding I have yet only begun to even imagine the soul searching and inner reflection I need to discover I think I recently came to the realization that I have no idea who I am. I spent most of my life helping others and in return ignoring myself and my needs. Good going huh. (Laugh) It is hard because most people i know don't know who they are and don't seem to care either. So when I found information on Paganism it was as if I had found my road my light my calling. I have so much anger and resentment from my childhood. They seem to suffocate my inner being not allowing me to truly let go. I need to understand it (the anger and pain) and I need to let it go. It's probably the hardest thing I have ever had to go through and any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I know I have to do this alone. But i just need something to let me know it's been done and that I can let go of all this pain and that i can be at peace with myself oneday. Thanks for reading this long story about me and I hope that it wasn't too boring looking forward to knowing you all.

Hi, Welcome :) It is hard to work though pain. Sounds like you did not get a great start in life. I have gone though depression and one thing that seems to help is looking at the good of your life now. If your childhood was not so, good. Make the child hood of your kids better then you had, that should help. Don't worry to much there are lots of nice people hear that will always being willing to listen :)

This may not be the right place to post this, but it mite help someone then I am going the right thing.

I too have had a bad childhood, I was molsted by my only sister for years and by a man too. I have been fighting deep depression for most of my life. Now, I come from a christan back gruond and went to chruch like most kids, but I too find that something was missing. When my girlfriend told me she was Pagen, I just said cool. Now I have been Pagen for 4 years now and have come to terms with my childhood. It is a slow process.

I hope this is some help to you and you heal.

I know hokw you feel. I've been raised as a baptist all my life, but it just left a void that left me confused. I started looking into Wicca about five years ago, and it gave me a light at the end of my tunnel. The most helpful thing I found to remember is that as long as you have faith in the Lord an Lady, they have faith in you! Good luck!
