Radocs, Avalon and Xentor

Hi all ;)

I often have vivid and bizarre dreams - my family gets sick of me telling them the strange stories! :lol:

Anyway, last night, the three of you featured quite prominently in my dream ( :whatgives )

I was swimming up current in a large cement canal (it looked like a long outlet for a hydroelectric dam). There were large shark/salmon type fish (yes, shark salmon...whatever...:lol: ) trying to swim upstream as well, and there was a huge sense of urgency about trying to get somewhere before something happened to all of them.

When I got to the building (which had big cement flying buttresses for some reason :lol: ), I crawled out of the water and was on sort of a loading dock. There was a bum standing around, mumbling, but it turned out he had 3 bubble-foil wrapped pills (they looked like antihistamines) to give me. As soon as I had them, I realized I HAD to get them to Radocs...so I ran into the building (through the door that conveniently appeared ;) ) and looked around frantically, since I had no idea where his office was. The hall I was in looked like the chemistry halls at my university, which were dingy and painted a sickly yellow colour :wtf:

Luckily, Avalon showed up (are you tiny with long blonde hair, Avalon?! You were in my dream!) and showed me how to find Radocs' office (turns out you were a grad student, Radocs). It was all a bit frantic, especially since he wasn't there...(probably out having coffee, that's where grad students usually are! :lol: )

As soon as we realized Radocs wasn't there, I was flashed back outside, and the bum gave me the tabs again, and I followed the same whole sequence, except that when I got to the office, the door was open, and Xentor was there - he was also a grad student, sharing the office. (You were about 22, very tall, and very slender, Xentor!). Anyway, I wanted to give him the tabs, but he was more interested in just chatting away about his project, and I was getting more and more nervous about the fate of the shark salmon.

And then the alarm went off. :smash:

Anyway, I have no deep undying need to analyze the dream or anything, I just thought you three would like to know what sorts of adventures you were having last night :D :lol:

I've been somewhere like that before, RockPrincess! It was in Washington State or thereabouts, and there was a dam and a power plant, with a salmon run to help the salmon swim upstream and over the dam. Just thought I'd share :D

Hmm...the shark salmon is an interesting touch. I believe that this creature symbolizes a desperate hope...possibly one that does not look to be in good sights right now. In other words, the happening that you want is out of reach at this moment. Also, the idea that you were having to swim upstream gives me the thought that it is a hope that is can be very difficult to achieve, and one in which you have been struggling with for some time.

The bum seems to me to be a comrade, a partner, a friend. I have the feeling that there is someone who has been offering to help you, and past their attempts, nothing has succeeded.

Radocs, Avalon and Xentor represent your goal, or the last steps in your journey to acquiring this goal. The fact that you had trouble with finding them and completing your tasks only reflect upon the struggle that you have been having.

But, there is very good news throughout all of this: you never gave up. And that is perhaps the most important message in this dream...to not give up on what you are trying to achieve. Through everything, you can still make it...you just may need the help of others who are willing to aid you.

Hmm, Raihn, thank you! I really didn't think about the dream as deeply as that - I always have crazy adventure dreams, and I never interpret them, I just tell people about them and we laugh.

But I'll think about what you said, and see how it might apply to anything going on in my life. Thanks! :colorful:

Do you TRY to remember them? I don't, it just happens. But my fiance had never remembered a single dream until he met me, and I started telling him about all of my crazy adventures, and I guess it opened his subconscious to the possibility, because he does occasionally remember them now. :whatgives
