My daughter just walked in holding my sons guinia pig like a baby and was giving it water from it's water bottle. The gp looked very happy cuddled there.

How lovely, can just picture it! :)
I think if they're like that when they're little, they stay caring when they grow up.
My eldest son is 20, just over 6ft 4ins, well built, hair down to his waist, always dressed all in black and frightens the life out of little old ladies, but he's as soft as s*%# really, especially when it comes to our cats! And they idolise him, jump on him the minute he comes home and follow him everywhere, wonderful to know that a grouchy teenage(ish) son really does have a heart!

My hubbie is 20 and likes to wear black leather rarely cracks a smile in public and is very reserved but he is the sweetest most wonderfull of men with a heart bigger than my body. So I know what you mean. I like to watch my 4 year old with baby animals and small bugs.

I really can't imagine my son being a husband - he still acts like a 10 yr old most of the time 8O 8O
(or is that just because i'm his mum? hehe)

AWwwwww....this reminds me of two things actually. Our cat, Collar, loves nothing better than to be held like a baby and have his tummy rubbed....
AND...
My ex-boyfriend Steve was a real toughy, as I remember (it was 10 years ago, gimme a break! :p). I have one picture left of this man. He is wearing a black t-shirt, black leather jacket, black leather ballcap, black jeans, black cowboy kick-a$$ boots, with an armful of two-week-old kittens going "AWWWWWWWWW"!! Hehehehehe cracks me up every time! :D
