Greenman?

Okay I believ in mother nature all the way but what is the greenman? I've searched for info about him on the internet but it doesn't really explain to me clearly enough. Please Explain! :)

I had never given much thought to the Green Man, but had become familiar with the image when reading on other pagan topics. Then a couple weeks ago, I just walking up to my house at night, and happened to look up at the moon through the trees. the clouds covered the moon and began to take shape and *wham* I realized I was looking at the Green Man!! It was so awesome and exciting and I decided that was a clue to give him a little more attention.

I love the Green Man! My mom made me one to put out on my wall outside the house. He is so cool!

My vote was for no. And the reason being, I don't believe I really worship him, though I do believe, and see him every day. Whether it be in the leaves, bark, or elsewhere. I know he is there. Now this may only be because his image is the one I choose to associate with the green aspect of nature. But then again, I seem to be a bit poly LOL
