ok, maybe im just weird or something, and dont take this the wrong way.... but im on a gradual verge to losing all of my pagan beliefs. idk how to explain it. and as weird as it sounds, i dont think of it as in a negative way either. i mean, yes, there are still things out there of course that i believe in of pagan origin, but i dont feel strongly enough about it all anymore to label myself as "pagan". its more of a gradual acceptance than anything else. of life, of death, of everything in between. i think now that, paganism, christianity, and any other religion or set of spiritual beliefs is a way that we have manifested ourselves to try to make us feel better about ourselves, about our life, about death, and as a means to help control what we know we really cant.

this sounds so depressing i know... but i think its better like that. it means that im no longer trying to control what i know i cant. it means that i accept life now, just as i accept death. im not longer plagued by constant worry, about whether or not im going to have enough money to put food on the table, about losing a dear friend whether or not its by their own free will, about being alone...

i feel free from everything. i feel as if ive almost attained some sort of enlightenment, if thats what you would dare call it. but either way, i still always end up with the same thing. i end up free. and i accept it.

Actually, I would say this is a great time for you to do some reading about different spiritual traditions, including but not limited to, Pagan beliefs and really start to define what you do believe.

Academically speaking, what you feel is actually supposed to be part of a maturing process spiritually - you question, you expand your horizons, you learn and you refine. No bad thing.

I think this is fantastic! Whether or not you give up paganism.. what you're feeling is awesome. I only wish to someday reach that enlightenment. :)

Good for you!

I think I'm a little lost.

Just because you're not sure if you believe in everything the Pagans believe in doesn't really mean you lost your faith. If you are at ease with life and death it sounds like you still have your faith to me.

Faith changes. Spiritual growth is always a good thing.

Besides, Paganism is such a big umbrella that you might still not have to change labels.

You are doing what we all have done at one time or another. Questioning is good and shows you are evolving into a higher plane. If we all just blindly travel forward without direction we are lost but if wee search for answers we will be enlightened.

I would suggest exploring other beliefs and enrich you body, mind and soul. Somehow I feel it hugers for more.

Hello Bella, I agree with the others, it seems as if you have been found and are no longer lost! I feel that freeness by being a Pagen! I was stuck in a very unhappy Christian life as a child as just finally put my foot down and went the way the path should have taken me YEARS ago. That is not to say that some day that may change, but right now, I feel being a witch is the PERFECT life for me and my beliefs. Good luck hun with whatever you chose.

Blessed be!

I think you are learning the difference between spirituality and "faith" as you know it.

Walk your spiritual path. :D
