Yesterday, the smallest toe of my left foot had a kind of unfriendly encounter with the dryer. It is quite swollen, blue and it hurts like *&^#&*%
Cant walk normal.. =.=
Does anyone know a simple reciepe to perhaps speed up the recovery? Last time this happened my toe stayed swollen for about 2 months (bye bye shoes) I would be most grateful! :D

Hmm... about 6 months ago, maybe longer, my toe had a run in with the corner of a wall.... as in forced away from it's buddies by the force of my foot kicking the wall to dodge a certain kitty cat...lol.

Ten minutes later, after I crawled to a chair, my toe was purple-black. Then it swelled up a lot... and hurt like the dickens for about two weeks. But after that, it was a lot better.

I'm pretty sure I did break it though, because if I bump it just right now, and not hard at all, it swells and bruises and hurts like crazy all over again!

I think pretty much all you can do for a broken toe is tape it and try to stay off it a bit if you can. Ice, keeping it raised will also help. I don't know if this will help at all, but you could try soaking it inEpsom salt and warm water. I'd even add in a few drops of lavender oil, which has pain relieving properties, in addition to being relaxing.

Oh and as an FYI, I broke my little toe ummm... two years ago (?) and if I wack it just right, it still hurts. Bah.

Feel better!!

And of course a doctor can;t do much more then we can at home because what to fix a little two to? I think the big one is the only one they can reallly try to fix, isn't it?

No, going to the docter is quite useless.. =.=
Well I taped it today, and I must say, that I am able to walk almost without pain.
Ow luck ^_^
