Hi everyone. I have changed a little in the past week and I felt like I would post a message about that here on Mystic Wicks so everyone who doesn't know me can know me better and those who do can be kept up to date about me. Anyway, before I tell you all about my change, I am going to tell you about my history as briefly as I can.
I used to be a Christian about a year ago until I decided that I would get involved in an Occultic religion. I never talk about that religion much though. Anyway, my buddy Andrew, found out about it and he didn't really like it that well although he told me to follow what ever religion I wanted to. However, he introduced me to Wicca. So I researched about it some and decided I was going to be a Solitary Eclectic Wiccan. I was a Wiccan for around 6 months ago. Then a few weeks ago I turned back to my original Occultic practices. Unfortunately, this wasn't fulfilling to me and I was beginning to be a very negative person at times. I am not saying that I was negative all the time, just part of the time. I am not normally like that. So, yesterday I decided to go back to being a Christian. I guess you could say that I am an Evangelical or Conservative Christian. But please don't call me a Fundamentalist. I hate being called that. Believe me, I don't like Fundamentalists very well either. They're way too narrowminded for me. Anyway, I consider myself to be very openminded and I really don't see Christianity as the one and only true path. I believe that pretty much any religion is a valid and good path if it brings happiness to the one who follows it. Truthfully, I'm not sure if I believe everything that Conservative and Evangelical Christians believe. All I know is that I believe the Bible is a really good book to read and that it has a lot of good moral guidelines in it and stuff. I also believe that there is one God. I am a Monotheist now. Actually I was a Monotheist even when in the Occult. I do believe in the Trinity though. I do not proselytize. I see no point in it. If someone wants to learn about Christianity or become a Christian, they will find out about themselves. I don't need to assume that someone wants to learn and then just go and talk to them about it. Talking to someone who is unwilling to learn is useless because they're likely to just be annoyed and try their best to ignore you. They'll quickly forget what you said after you leave.
So anyway, I have changed quite a bit. However, I am still very openminded and other than my religion, I really haven't changed much at all. I am still a huge fan of Raistlin Majere and I still collect dragon and wizard statues and swords and play Dungeons and Dragons. lol... So yeah, I haven't changed much. :hehehehe:
