Medicine Cards - Anyone else use them?

I think I'm in love.....again. I got my medicine cards just recently and I totally love them! My children and I did our totems and now we practice drawing a card everyday. It is amazing...whatever card we pull is exactly what we need to work on each day. We sit and meditate on what the animal has to tell us and do a little brainstorming (4 year olds are fairly limited in the time that they can sit still to meditate :). I'm still getting to know the cards so I still use the book a bit when I'm really stumped, but otherwise I just go on my intuiton. It's amazing to see what children get out of the cards.
I was just wondering if there is anyone else that use them and what spreads they use. I haven't really tried any spreads yet (besides the one card spread) but I would love to experiment.

I love the medicine cards. They are very friendly and never miss to point something to me that I had overlooked. I never really use a spread. One, two at the most, will do.

I used to own the deck at one time,but somewhere in our move they disappeared.
I tried most of the spreads which came with it. I also had the Sacred Path Cards
that I used along with the Medicine Cards.I did the Pathway Spread alot and found
the readings to be enlightening.I haven't replaced them,just don"t have the funds for that right now.I do miss both decks though!

Yeah, I know what you mean about only using one or two at a time. There is just so much to each card that is all that that is all I have really used so far too. I'm just not too sure about using them in a spread...might lead to info overload. I would like to try it some time....though I don't feet totally ready yet.
Sorry to hear that you lost your deck. Hope that funds come soon so that you can replace them.

Yes! I love the medecine cards too. I seem to relate to the animal-based card systems anyway.

I find that I relate to them well too. My children just love them and look forward to our daily family reading...it makes a great morning ritual!

I have both Medicine cards and Sacred path.. very nice imagery. Good feeling to them. Hard to fool them.

I have the Medicine Card deck, but some time ago I visited the Animal Spirit forum, I learned how to make my own deck and do intuitive readings with them..They are really helpful at that forum with doing readings and making decks using blank cards or using regular playing cards.

Anyway,I haven't used the Medicine deck since :))

If anyone is interested in trying this, let me know and I'll try to find the link :)
