Design a Tattoo for Me?

I'm getting a new tattoo...about the size of a sandwich plate, on my back. I have to consultation on Saturday to talk with the artist about what I want and how much it'll cost. I basically know what I want, but I'd like to bring in a visual for him to copy from.
What I'm looking for is a pentacle (5 pointed star in circle), with representations of the elements at the appropriate points. (spirit=top, air=left, water=right, earth=left bottom and fire=right bottom).
My original idea was really ambitious....to have fire crawling up one side, and vines and flowers up the other, water dripping from one side (over top of the fire) and a bird pirched on the other, on top of the vines, with a halo representing spirit over the top point.
Now this just may be too much detail for a tattoo, so I was willing to settle for a basic pentacle with colored stones at the points.
Now I'm wondering if my original idea would work or not. Is there any artsy person here who could draw/computer it out for me.... it would have to be about 4 inches in diameter...no more than 5....is that too small for such detail?

This was just something I cooked up in like 5 mins... its really rough, but feel free to do with it what you wish... I may have to turn something like it into a painting LOL. :)
