How do you know if you have fearies? How often should you leave them offerings? What kinds of things for offerings? Any special rites or anything for them? Advise? OK, thanks. BB*!

Here is a small list of things you can leave for offerings:
* Small cakes, candies, ginger, barley, and cake decorating candies. They love flowers so leave your offerings in a small bowl or basket under a Rose bush or in a flower bed.
* You may want to plant a small flower garden for them. They especially like Roses, and Bluebells. They will also enjoy a small pool to bathe or play in. You can use a small Birdbath for this... the birds will like it too.
And to know if you might have Faeries living near your home and how to see them if there are.....About the Fae (http://www.thefaerycrossing.com/care.html)

I leave a sauser or milk and if they don't want it the local cats will.I got the idea from one of my favorite books Pat of Silverbush by LM Montgomery.
In one of my windows I hung a paice of cloth instead of a curtain. When I saw a picture panel of fabric on sale cheep I bought it and only dropped one of the tack from the other paice of fabric. When the sun shines through the one dangeling peice of fabric it makes the shapes of fairies and its werid how they are different on different days.
Also I dream of faeries

Shiny things! Oh, and honey. I left a cup of honey out once, and they left me a hyacinth bulb in the morning.

I usually leave oreos, but sweet stuff is something they seem to like. I once left Gatorade even, and they seemed to like it.

FREARY: /freer-e/ noun.
FREARY is a rare disease that originated in Norway. Symptoms include complete loss of body hair, excepting for a sudden sprouting of hair upon the buttocks. Shortly after this hair growth, persons infected with the disease will develop a fixation with the moon, and will begin to exhibit behaviors resembling those of the mythical werewolves--i.e., they will begin to emit "howling" sounds in the vicinity of the moon. In worse cases, those infected will become obsessed with the idea of climbing an enormous tomato vine to the moon; generally, however, they die from believed flea attacks, and peculiar aberrant skin conditions resembling fungus-related conditions, before it reaches this point.
Related words: frearite, Freario-Os, frearified.
Oh! You wanted to know about faeries?

I know when my faries are around things tend to turn up missing. Especially if they are shiny or if it's something I need to find in a hurry. :hehehehe:

something i know lots about... yeah... that book is a good thing by the way...
oh and leave the brownies in your home some milk and bread, they love the stuff... clean up the enviroment around you... shows you care.... um... what other pieces of advice to give... don't get into arguments with them you'll never win (i got a headache as proof of that :) ) and find out what each kind likes... like sylphs (air faeries) love music so if you hum a tune while walking they'll hear and come visit you... actually all of them like music but hey... just an idea... plant lots of flowers, leave one area of your garden untended for the wilde faeries.. they love it
enjoy! oh and last of all, keep the child in yourself alive, faeries LOVE children

Thanks for all the advise. I live in a second floor apartment so what i've done it blessed a shell to use for an offering dish and then I put it in one of my plants. (The plant I used wasn't doing too well but now, all of a sudden, it's doing quiet well.) Also, I wrote a little poem for them too that I read when we put out there offering. Other than that, I'm still trying to figure out what I can do for them. Thanks for all the great idea's though!! BB*!, moonchild
