I need help

I am trying to stop drinking. I do not drink often, just on Friday and Saterday night. I am a little tipsy right now, I admit as I wright this. But I want to stop. I've been trying to for the past three weeks, but I cannot seem to keep the tequila away. I want to go to bars and not feel the need to order another shot. But I also know that I am not strong enough inside to do this on my own. I need help. Any kind that you are willing to give me would be much apreciated. Please help me. I am afraid becuase I see the seeds of alcoholism in me, and I cannot seem to stop myself. Please help.

Ahhh, I understand well... The power is within you. You make the choice.. Here is an idea.. get three anythings...pieces of paper or whatever.. when you have a drink, drop a paper... when they are gone, you are done... Get ahold of it as soon as you can, or it will get worse... I don't want to see that happen.. Good luck my friend...

I know what you are going through.. I have helped many people through addictions.. Truley the only one who can make you stop is you yourself... I haveenough faith thta if you want to stop you will and will do anything you can to stop it .. you must believe that you want to stop after 3 and stop... good luck ans if you need anything just ask!

Well, I usually only have three shots, but I need to stop at least for my career. If I get caught underage drinking, I am screwed on promotion.
Thank you for trying to help me, I guess I just need to stop going out to the bars. That will keep me from drinking. Andersen will hate that, but **** it. I know this is better for me. No more bars for me!

Being able to admit that you have a problem is the first big thing, so congrats, you have gotten over the hump. From here on... you have to decide how you're going to fix it.
Overall, it is YOU who makes the decision. Noone else can do it for you....
