Okay, I'm planning on dedicating myself to The Morrigan on/during Samhain, and I was wondering could I have both red and black clothe drapped over my altar? The reason I ask this, as both peices are remnants, and not quite big enough on their own to cover the entire space. As both red and black are significant to The Morrigan, I thought it would be fitting.

I don't know much about The Morrigan, but I would think if the colors are significant then there should be no problem.

I am not familiar with Morrigan, and i am also very eclectic, but i don't believe everything has to be just so. it is the intent and what is in your heart that matters.everything else is just dressing. lol but then again my "wand" is a old wooden spoon. just me my barefeet and my cauldron in the kitchen cooking away. but seriously i don't see why it would be a problem if you are comfortable with it.

whatever feels right, then do it. Combining red & black might actually help you visually.

Sounds fine to me as well. I'm a Daughter of The Morrigan... my altar right now has a big maroon cloth that reaches all the way to the ground. On top of that is a smaller, decorated black cloth that just covers the top surface with almost no hang.
Before that, I had a metallic red and a cobwebby black to cover all the space since neither fit all the way.
She doesn't seem to mind 'remnants' at all, as long as they're placed with love and care. What matters is that you're honoring Her the best you can.
