Welcome to Paths

For the longest time people have asked us for a *insert religion or Path here* forum. We have always said no because we didnt want to seperate the community by contributing to labels. :) Well, we do realize that we all need a place to talk about specifics to our religion or Path and sometimes its not something you want to get into a Theological debate about.

So, here we are. The Path forum. If we need a thread on Wicca. Then please, Wiccan's, start one. How about one on buddhism? Start one. Lets try to keep one thread per path, please. I know, personally, no Path is the same for any individual...but the similarities are what we are discussing here. Providing information for the seeker and learning.

Edited to add: These threads are not for debate. We have a theology forum. These threads are to provide information and share information. I suggest if you are questioning another Path's principles then you do it in a more proper environment, such as the theology forum. We will not tolerate any abuse of any religion nor will we let this forum turn into a flame fest of people disagreeing with principles.

Well, why do you need one? Most people that have expressed why they have a particular path describe a feeling of certain things feeling right, 'clicking' with them while others things, though they might be innteresting, dodn't feel right.

Most people also describe a period of searching and exploration before settling on a particular path. Some never selct a particular path (or perhaps they do but have a hard time describing its characteristics) and some people follow multiple paths with apparent success.

My advice, if you are asking for any (insert pinch of salt here) is - take your time, pay attention to yourself and how you are feeling, and things will become apparent to you in their own time.

thanks mol, this was a great idea. im always looking to learn and one of the things that always intrigues me is other peoples paths. its good to have one forum that you can come to to learn about specific religions etc. instead of trying to search everywhere for vague references.
