Ok I post on 5 other forums besides this one. So you could say I know all the basics. But I have never been to a site like this that has so many topics and so many people on it. Does anyone have problems with trying to navigate all their posts? Or is it just because I am a :RuNew: to this sight? Any helpful hints or suggestions would be appreciated. *overwelmed* :ahhhh:

Try picking out things that interest you the most. I don't usually ever post in the history or the critters forums because they don't interest me or don't pertain to what I want to talk about. I try to stay on top of posts in the Just Talk forum, at least reading if not replying, and I am trying to welcome all newbies to MW as well.

Don't worry about getting to know people either. Important people start to show up right away. I mean, you can't miss the Wiccan Chicken!

It can be confusing, but just try to concentrate on something that interests you. You might also try searching forums for specfic topics.

Welcome! There's a handy-dandy feature in your User CP link at the top left, if you reply to a thread you're automatically subscribed to it. That way you don't have to remember where you posted, or constantly check back to see if someone replied!

*laughs* As to the rest, just be prepared to give up some free time looking around. ;)

Welcome.. Greetings and hello.. No, you get used to the board.. so much that I have trouble anywhere else because it does not feel organized. (MW is the best..stick round and see) Shhhh, don't tell anyone I told you.

Oh man, I get overwhelmed!!!! It's just crazy the amount of posts that we make here in a day. So, like has already been mentioned, here's how I *try* and keep up.

In User CP, I checked the box to have any thread I reply or start as "subscribed". Then every time I log on, I just click on User CP and I can see every thread I have interest in that has been replied to since the last time I was on.

Then I click on New Posts, and it only shows me threads that have been created or replied to since the last time I was logged in. Once I make it through all of those (if I even can), then I got to certain threads that I prefer and scan for some old threads that maybe I missed or have more interest in now.

But please, join the fun, learn something new...become part of the gang. And WELCOME! :D

Uhg... I've been here over a year and I have a VERY hard time trying to keep up with stuff. I LOVE it here, but I feel GUILTY most of the time that I can't keep up with all the posts that I went to. The Subscribed Threades thing under your CP is really helpful, but it gets so busy sometimes...

i use the new posts button most of the time, or my subscribed threads in my CP, but i love juggling threads, its fun.
