This spread is to help focus on a goal :)
Shuffle the deck and lay out the cards per the diagram below.
Card 1: This card represents you and your personality, which dictates what kinds of risks you usually take, whether you are cautious or careless, and affects how high you usually set your goals. You are perfectly capable of achieving more, if you so desire, but be aware that the effort may be greater, or that some changes in your current mode of thinking may be required.
Card 2: This card represents your goal, what you are focusing on, or an aspect of that goal you hadn't considered. Is this really what you want?
Cards 3, 4 and 5: These cards are the things you have, resources upon which to draw, things or people that can help. Also things that you will need to achieve your goal.
Cards 6 and 7: These represent a tempered version of the goal, a reality check. They represent what is possible, and a concrete way to make it happen, a step to the goal. Can be problems that will be met and need to be overcome, or things to watch out for and prepare for.
When you have read all the cards, look at them all together. Are the steps to your goal in order? Lay them out so that they are, from you to your goal. Maybe you find the goal itself is not in the right place. Rearrange them so they make sense to you, not necessarily in a straight line, but however it takes to get you there.

I just love these spreads at the moment because they are so accurate for me :)
I just kept on saying goal in life over and over as I drew the cards.. just now realised that i didnt say business or home or spiritual.. and as always Im stunned with the results!
1) Queen Of Swords ~ Imagination ~ Ive never liked her before (in my other two decks) but she is really nice here, and she has come up before as me recently! I am very imaginative and soemtimes live a bit too much in dream world! But its also my imagination that has saved me from allot of stuff and also been the key to all of my success.
2) 8 of Discs ~ Skill ~ I am confident but always thinking that I need to learn and improve more..maybe this is something I dont need to think about.. maybe I dont need to work that hard ;) to achieve my goals! lol, if only that was true!
Cards 3, 4 and 5: These cards are the things you have, resources upon which to draw, things or people that can help. Also things that you will need to achieve your goal. ~
4 of Discs ~ Materialism, 5 of Discs ~ Restriction & Ace of Cups ~ Spirituality! Im glad cups were in there and spirituality too! This fit very well with the story of my life ~ a good background but very restircted and out of which grew my spirituality! Ims till growing too...
Cards 6 and 7: These represent a tempered version of the goal, a reality check. They represent what is possible, and a concrete way to make it happen, a step to the goal. Can be problems that will be met and need to be overcome, or things to watch out for and prepare for ~
10 of Cups ~ Reward ~ and The Lady!! Wow! The Lady again as my goal ~ how true and with the 10 of Cups too... These fit for both my dream/goal and what I have to overcome! But hey, its a nice dream!
:D
& Yes!! They all do progress when I place them in a line ~ Wow! I often forget just how much the Tarot always amazes me :D

1. 6 of Staffs
2. King of Staffs
3. 3 of Staffs
4. King of Cups
5. Knight of Pentacles
6. Ace of Staffs
7. Page of Staffs
The first thing I noticed was that there are a LOT of staffs in this reading. One cup, one pentacle, and the rest staffs. I asked about my goal of finding a job, which I will probably have to do in September, since I'm done school next month. To me staffs represent wisdom, intelligence, and creativity and relate to air.
1. The unicorn shown here is wandering through a forest. Each tree has vines growing up it, and represents to me the fact that I rarely take chances unless I'm quite certain it's a good chance to take.
2. The King of Staffs often represents someone stable, reliable, and someone who enjoys spending time with their family. Just about the same kind of job I'd like - stable, reliable, and comfortable atmosphere.
3. 4. and 5. represent forethought and consideration, stable character, and courage to me. The King of Cups especially makes me remember that wherever I work I always have to remember not to be totally goal-oriented, that I have to remember to relax, be personable, talk to others, and enjoy myself, as well as getting the job done.
6. represents what is possible - which seems to be anything. A Unicorn under a waxing moon stands against a tree while the castle lies in the distance. It announces new beginnings and new growth.
The Page represents a friend who will help me out. They will listen as a friend or offer guidance. I imagine this is my fiance, who is already in a similar field to what I want to do. I think this suggests my goal will be reached happily. I think it follows a straight line as well - consideration, finding a job, being courageous and considering the position properly as well as taking steps to get it, and then the fact that if I find this job that is perfect and do my best it'll be successful, as well as the fact that my SO will be there to support me when I'm nervous and starting out. ;)

Hiya hun, I choose this spread for you and heres what I got!
Id just like to ask ~ do you shuffle quickly? Because I started to shuffle much more quickly than I usually do ;)
Card 1: This card represents you and your personality, which dictates what kinds of risks you usually take, whether you are cautious or careless, and affects how high you usually set your goals. You are perfectly capable of achieving more, if you so desire, but be aware that the effort may be greater, or that some changes in your current mode of thinking may be required.
~ King of Cups ~ I immediately thought this is to do with a relationship in your life and that it is very strong at the moment :)
You also are very calm and kind in everything that you do. You can sometimes take risks but prefer to know what exactly is going to happen and what exactly it involves.. you like to plot everything out and have a plan.. but your also very free, creative and expressionate ~ so there are two sides to you! & your friends and family know that you are very wise and worldly and often come to you for advice and hugs! This is your real potential with people and its great that people really see this in you too :)
Card 2: This card represents your goal, what you are focusing on, or an aspect of that goal you hadn't considered. Is this really what you want?
Four of swords ~ Hmm the swords always throw me a bit but Id say your goal has deffinately soemthing to do with your relating to people and helping them also somehting to do with your mind, spirituality and imagination. You want to teach in a way dont you and share your experiences with others. This is also take a break card.. so maybe you need to step back and put some energy back into yourself?
Cards 3, 4 and 5: These cards are the things you have, resources upon which to draw, things or people that can help. Also things that you will need to achieve your goal.
Both really strong material cards ~ 7 and 8 of Pentacles ~ These cards show that money is not a problem at all and you have always worked hard for things and been very sucessfull. So you know you have the strength to do anything you want and both the backing and success rate! Brilliant!!
& the Three of wands ~ which is a great ambition card ~ showing you are prepared to make scarifices and explore all avenues with your life. You are open to the world but also to your changing desires and ambitions in life.
Cards 6 and 7: These represent a tempered version of the goal, a reality check. They represent what is possible, and a concrete way to make it happen, a step to the goal. Can be problems that will be met and need to be overcome, or things to watch out for and prepare for.
~ Sixe of Pentacles and Five of Pentacles ~ This are both very different the cards ~ the 6 is a string powerfull ambitious and successfull card and the 5 is a self pondering, retreating and dwelling card. So Im a bit confused with this...? Maybe you are in two minds about this goal? Maybe you really want to go for it and succeed again but you fear not succeeding ~ maybe you think its too hard a challenge for you? I think you can and have everything alreayd to make it happen just belief in yourself is needed.
All the cards were in order except the last (which threw me..) so I think its saying the sky is the limit as long as you have faith in yourself.

Actually it usually depends on my mood, but I would say I shuffle cards resonably quick, tarot cards anyway, my Australian Animal Cards I shuffle slower because they are bigger than most tarot cards.
Card 1: ~ King of Cups ~ so there are two sides to you!
That's pretty good!!! Yeah that sounds like me (the good side anyway. lol) I can be a bit of a b***h when I want to be too ;)

I think you must be in my brain!!! LOL Seriously though, just last night I was thinking of getting back into the healing side of things again, I've sort of let that side go lately. Eventually, when I got comfortable with it all again I COULD technically teach, I am a master in magnified healing - but I also suffer a shy streak when it comes to 'performing' for people, especially if I were to teach. :)

:) Well I have the full support of hubby, so this is true.

Actually it makes more sense than you think :) Part of me has been thinking a nice retreat all of my own would be nice (practical, not really, but nice! lol) in order to get back in touch with things, and part of me is obviously thinking this isn't practical so I've been trying to work out how to bring this around in the home etc. And part of me has been trying to decide whether I want to follow a more structured way - like joining a group or temple (of which would be long distance if I did) or studying on my own for the time being.
