This spread is for weighing matters, making decisions, for seeing things fairly, and for discernment.

Shuffle the deck and lay out the cards as below.

Card 1: This card represents one point of view, one side of the matter, one choice or decision.

Card 2: This card represents the other side, the flip side, an opposing but connected view, the other choice or decision.

Card 3: This card represents an aspect of the first side that perhaps you hadn't considered; it gives depth, a more complete picture, revealing hidden strengths or conflicts.

Card 4: This card is like card 3, but it defines the second choice or side more clearly.

Card 5: This card is the balance, the weight that is adjusted to bring the two into balance, a compromise that is equitable to both. Or, it can represent advice in a decision as to which is the stronger choice.

Hiya darl, Heres your reading ~ I choose to do this one for you to give it a go and thought it may fit with everything that going on in your life at the moment!

Card 1: This card represents one point of view, one side of the matter, one choice or decision. ~ I got 5 of Discs ~ Restriction for this. Im not sure about this because I dopnt think it fits that well... I think this is just a minor element in your life now.. maybe because you want to do so much and have a career as well as start a family you feel you cant do both.. you feel restricted maybe to make a choice? I think this is just trivial and maybe soemthing you joke about.

Card 2: This card represents the other side, the flip side, an opposing but connected view, the other choice or decision. ~
4 of Swords ~ Rest ~ You want to do so much you have no time to rest but you also want to rest ~ get away on holiday and just chill. No for long just for a break.. but you also want action so your kind of itchy to do things..get things in motion.. get things done.

Card 3: This card represents an aspect of the first side that perhaps you hadn't considered; it gives depth, a more complete picture, revealing hidden strengths or conflicts. ~ The Sun!! I think this is a very powerful card in this spread I was immediately drawn to it! I think its saying that whatever you do, which ever direction you choose for while.. work then motherhood..or family first.. you will be so happy and everything will go very well with allot of love, joy and success! I think this is your fate/life card that is the essence of you!

Card 4: This card is like card 3, but it defines the second choice or side more clearly. ~ This was next to the Rest card ~ 9 of wands ~ Recovery ~ I dont think this is like the sun, only that maybe its about self love, time and caring. Its a take time out card.. so its saying again whatever you do will go very well! Just be sure that you are high on energy and fully in control and happy.

Card 5: This card is the balance, the weight that is adjusted to bring the two into balance, a compromise that is equitable to both. Or, it can represent advice in a decision as to which is the stronger choice. ~ Now this is interestin! The Wheel! and thats what i got fromt his whole reading..very opposite and kind of unbalanced ~ Like the wheel. I think its saying that maybe you do need some rest and a holiday (dont we all!). Expect the unexpected and be totally open to whatever happens and falls into your path ~ remeber this and the Sun and you cant go wrong in my book!
:D

What a load of rabble! But thats what I got

I think the card 1 represents how I *think* I need to make a decision and that choosing one may mean I don't get to do the other, when in reality either way I'll reach my goals and it doesn't really matter. The 2nd card reveals my recent deliberation over the break I'd like to take when I'm done school -ie. should I start looking for a job now or relax for a week or two 'till September? Should I just wait and see how things pan out? Ooh I like the third card :D, and I think the 4th card says "hey, stop stressing, take a break already!". I think the 5th card gives the same answer every other reading seems to "I'm not tellin' ya, figure it out for yaself!"

Gives me some points to ponder tho and I really truly appreciate your taking some time out to help me. *big hugs*

Hey! I gave this one a whirl last night! I think it's awesome!

When I was shuffling, I thought okay.....left side Jamie Right side Stanley. This is what I got:

Position one: 6 of Swords
Position two: 10 of Cups
Position 3: Star
Position 4: Ace of Wands
Position 5: Page of Pentacles

So, in my opinion, (and the girlfriend I showed this too) the right side REALLY gets your attention!

I just have to figure out how the Page of Pentacles is the deciding factor! ....is it news?....money??....Stability?....practicality?? ACK!!

I definately think the Right side is the way to go. What do you think Silver? .....and everyone??

Right side ~ hand up baby, hands up!! :D
2 and 4 are very you and Stan arent they!! But its still confusing ~ sorry I know you are enough without me adding ..but youve got the Star there...

Im always stuck on the pages too  it could be further news of a job..

Why doesnt the Tarot ever give clear down the line answers?... where would the fun be then ;)

Well the thing is, Jamie is lined up for a job that pays great! Stanley has a facotry job....not bad pay....but he has 4 kids and has to pay most of his pay goes to Child Support. So, maybe the Page is telling me to go for the Money! lol ;) ...or maybe it's just saying to take that into account when making the decision!

I know....the Star threw me for a loop too! I'm just assuming that the Right side would make me happier than I've ever been....but on the left side....there is hope...even though I may be just drifting along and going through the motions....or maybe I'll ALWAYS be hoping with him.?? I don't know. I don't want to read too much into.....then again....don't want to omit anything either! lol

Thanks Silver!

I hope you don't mind, I did this spread for you as well, Dagda.

1. 4 of Pents
2. 2 of Pents
3. The Hierophant
4. The World
5. The Lovers

Ok what I notice first is there are only pents and major arcana - maybe you're putting too much stock in the money thing? I know it's important, but following your heart is usually the best thing to do. The Right Side is definitely dominant here.

"This is a card of crossing". The Hierophant "warns against energies contrary to the Seeker's nature". Don't "accept things at face value". "Look below the surface". The feelings I got from it were echoed in the book. The 4 of Pents shows a young man so obsessed with his pentacles (money) that he misses the grandness of the castle, full moon, and butterflies. Again, maybe you should follow your heart instead of worrying about $$

Meanwhile, the 2 of Pents shows a man under a full moon . I think it's a positive card, but it doesn't suggest things will be easy either - there are things to work out! The World - well, I think you'll see the meaning in that yourself.

Lastly, the Lovers. Love, not money, will be your true indicator.

To me the meanings here are very clear but I'm not an expert and only you can live your life. Maybe the star in the other reading suggests you can be content with either, while the rest suggests to follow your heart. I can imagine you realizing that your heart is the one to follow and thinking "oh, of COURSE". Then again, that's just me. I just hope this has given some insight or points to ponder tho.

Thank you Willow! I appreciate the reading!

I've always been one to follow my heart! ...but S is making it very difficult! ...because he is confusing me...his actions and words are rarely in agreement! He's the one who holds my heart, but chooses....at this point, not to accept it completely: just when it suits him. The progress I am making with him seems small to me, but I know it is having a large effect on him. <sigh> I believe he just needs some time.

As far as J goes, I know he loves me....and I do love him, just not to the same extent I feel for S. Jamie will be starting a new job here in about a month....and he will have alot of $$ coming in. I could be happy with him, but he has to prove to me that he has the ability to hold the job first....then we will see what happens! :D

If S doesn't "come around" I will accept J's offer of marriage and family....because I just can't stand still forever. I must move on as S will deem it necessiary! Oh the woe's of womanhood! :D If one can't have their hearts desire,....then the next best thing is....the next best thing. <shrugs shoulders>

So, to wrap this up....both of them have something to prove to me from their past mistakes. Both of them know that I am more than worth their love, and they both know I am "an amazing woman" as they have said. It's just that they have to prove to me what I have already proven to them.

I think your reading was great! Thank you for taking the time to help me with my seemingly muddled life! :D I also noticed that the major arcara are with Stanley....and in my book, the major arcara have the greater pull in one's life. You were dead accurate about it all being about $$ on the side of Jamie! So, my thoughts on the spread is that the greater weight of justiceand the decision to be made is on the side of Stan! <and yes, Silver, I noticed that the World came up YET AGAIN on the side of Stan!>

Thank you! :D
