Man I just saw the saddest thing on-line. Its called soulXchange. You can sell your soul online. Thats just dumb, why would someone do that? I mean yeah, its probably just a joke..........but still. I think that is just so lame. Why would you even pretend to sell your soul:confused:?? Well just thought I'd tell ya'lls. Adios and Blessed Be-

.......... To someone on this forum, actually. I don't remember if I got a quarter or a nickel, but it was shiny, and worth the exchange.
Convienant for me too, because if a bunch of satan worshippers kidnap me and torture me and demand me to sell my soul to them I can say "Oh too late buddy, doesn't belong to me any more". My soul is impervious to attack!!
Anyway, it sounds like a really kewl idea, I mean, wow, buying someone's soul. Sort of like that web site where you can buy property on the Moon.

satan worship seems silly to me... satanism is a whole different story though (*is married to a satanic priest*).
hmm.. souls for sale online.. darn.. i really wanted to do that too... i was planning on baking cookies with all the nifty wholesale prices souls i could find on eBay.
yeah it's silly, but then again, people like www.jerkcity.com are still around, and although they make an occasionally smart statement (usually a geeky computer term or sorts), most of it's just rediculous, pointless, vulgar and biased psuedo-humor.
And they've been around for a while....
so nothing surprises me anymore.

Well, that statement was rather a rude one to make. I am sure that the Satanists on the board would agree that they have better things to do than kidnap and torture you...although, after making a statement like that...they might...
Although, I am pretty sure this statement was made in a joking way, I wanted to make sure that I laid my opinion out for you.

I just looked at that site, and it's NOT a soul-selling site. Rather, it's sort of like a game. Like StarBonds on the Hollywood Stock Exchange (www.hsx.com). You register, and your soul is awarded X number of points, and then all the users buy shares of you, and these shares go up and down in value as players try to increase the value of their portfolio. You can buy shares of other people, trade them, sometimes there are splits, etc. Current events dictate fluctuations - ie, if you are an old jewish woman in palm beach florida, your stock goes way up during the election week :)

WTF???@!$ I thought wiccans didn't worship satan! Or that's what I've been told by people until they were blue in the face. Or maybe satan worship is pagan thing, not a wiccan thing.. I am still trying to make these distinctions... plz help me somebody?

Uh. I said the Satanists on the board. Not Wiccans. There are some Satanists in this Community. They are not Wiccans. They are Satanists.

Satanist doesn't nescerily )(sp) mean that they Worhsip Satan. And there was a huge thread about that in the political pagan. Please don't bring it up again. The game sounds funky. And also, please don't make statements without proper knowledge. i think religiostolerance.org is a good place to learn about Satanism, the real kind.

Yeah I get its a game. I read the site.........and I looked through it. I just think its stupid. I mean even jokinly why would someone want to even pretend to sell there soul??? The soul is an important part of you! Or am I the only one who thinks so. I think its pathetic someone would come up with something like that. I also know the more people who "buy" your soul the more points(i believe)you get. So yeah,I'm not a dumb a$$, I get that its "just a game" but still selling your soul should not be made a game, its not something, I believe, people should joke abouts, its just plain out stupid.

Here's the site,I hope.
http://www.soulxchange.com/soulStats.asp?id=30155
I found it in a community I'm in and it said "sell your soul"I clicked it and this,i believe,is one of the guys that sold his. I guess if people want to do this thats cool w/me.......I just don't think people should josh around w/something as important as selling your soul. I realize I was a little how do put it nicely....be-yotch-y-ish,but I just think its stupid so sorry if i was. Blessed Be-

It was a nickle and a neck scratch. Don't worry hon, I'm keeping your soul comfy and cozy, and well away from anyone who may want to snatch it...

How can I learn without asking questions? That's a Catch-22. "Shut up we already answered that question in an old thread you'll never read" doesn't help anyone! I'll check out that site, though.

please don't take this as rude, but .........!! if you can "write" and i know you can. you can read and to learn anything that you care to have stay with you. Read you must!! and a darn lot of it, i'll
assume you've also heard that being pagan is to be the "forever
student". Pagan is an umbrella word, it encompasses many
religions, faiths & practices. Even the Morman is considered pagan, as is the Jew.

how are Jewish people pagan? They are of The jewish religion, and by definition of Pagan (Non Christian, Jewish, or Islamic) they can't be, right?

your quoting that Webster fella aren't you? you ought to be ashamed. because if you believe everything in his "book" then you also believe we as pagan kind are heathen and without religion!! and just the small number of post of yours i've read;
that cannot be true!
not all pagans are within a belief system as we understand it,
and not all is so cut and dry as Mr. Webster would have you believe........!
