Poop. I meant to make that multiple choice.
I have all of them - crystal ball, runes, tarot, and black mirror.
The tarot decks I have are: Osho Zen, Rider-Waite, Love Tarot, Dragon Tarot, Robin Wood
Runes: Rune cards, store-bought healing runes, and a set that I made myself from stone
The black mirror is also homemade, though a friend of mine made it for me. :p

At the risk of sounding really dumb here....... what is geomany?

I have Runes (which I barely know how to use), a pendulum, an obsidian ball, tarot... No mirror though, I always usd a bowl of ritual-tea insetad, which I drank afterwards
edit: I've selected my fave instead :D

Don't worry, most people don't know what geomancy is.
Simple answer: you draw four lines of dots in the sand with a stick, add them up into various configurations to make a chart and use the resulting chart to get your answers.
I can get more in depth if you would like.

I have the tarot, and I still consider myself a student. I used to use the runes on a regular basis, mostly through high school. Had a superstitious moment with those, and haven't really used them since, although I've made a couple of new sets. That's all I have. :)

I have two sets of runes. One of which I have used, and used, and used, and the other set is new. The new set was a hand-made gift from a fellow MW citizen and they just glow with positive energy. Can't wait to use them!! I am very interested in tarot, but none of the decks I have seen have been 'right'. I also have a scrying mirror....somewhere....never used it though.

Shouldn't it let you pick more than one? I have tarot, several sets; I also use astrological transits as a prediction method which in some ways is like divination. And I (with greater or lesser success) open up to the assorted signposts that divinity scatters along ones path...

I have Tarot, Pendulum, Runes, Crystals.
I prefer to use Runes because they are easier to read than tarot and they give me a simpler answer. (Tarot have deeper meanings)
The easiest to do I personally think is the pendulum, but I'm not actually convinced that it works all the time. Cause it depends how your arm is resting on something and if you have a steady hand.
I was looking at a crystal ball just 4 hours ago!
I might get one soon.

I have 4 Tarot decks, a set of Runes and... well, not -quite- a crystal ball. It's more like a techno-pagan gazing ball thingy that will definatly show ya some spooky things.
I don't think you'd count that though :)

One set of runes, one set of I Ching, one set of Goddess Amulets, one set of Goddess Knowledge cards, one set of Peace cards, one set of Angel cards.
I've never done scrying but would like to learn! :) I'm really wanting to develop my intuitive reading skills, as most of what I've done is interpreting the spreads with the help of books.

I have one of the Art Nouveau decks, gorgeous art work. I have good luck with pendulums, but don't own any. There was one that I really wanted, but didn't have money at the time...when I did have money, the store didn't have that pendulum anymore. It was all metal and had a little spiral that came to a point, so cool. I find those more useful for energy work in regards to reading energy, sensing it in some places, etc, rather than for divination. I also have some runes and a little book on runes that I use for reading them, not good enough to do any readings from memory yet.

My son made his own set one day. he found some self-drying clay, rolled it out, cut out a set of ovals, checked a couple of books from the shelves and also checked out on the web what the shapes were. He then cut the runes, let them dry, and showed them to me.
He was very proud. So was I. He is nine.

I did hear that; 3d-eye things and seeng auras too.
I've always been able to see the 3d things in seconds, which is pretty nifty. I've also never had a problem scrying, and I can just about see auras when I try (though I see energy fields easily).

Has anyone ever tried Phoenix cards? They're not like a normal deck, there are something like 30 cards and you're supposed to lay them all out and pick seven that appeal to you most. The archetype on the card represents a past life and tells something about you in the present. They're wicked cool and was just wondering if anyone else had played with them?

I also bought a crystal today. I hear that I have to "program" my crystal to make it more personal, and if someone touches it, I would need to "reprogram" it. I need to get a book on crystals so I can personalize it to my inner self. Will this be covered in the course? Are there any suggestions on what books I should buy to learn more about crystals?

I have a pendulum, a big hunk of polished hematite for scrying, a penny casting cloth that I made.
At new year's we always do molybdemancy (pouring molten lead into water, like the wax and water), I have also done lots of eclectic stuff like egg rolling, bird omens, etc.
Penny casting is when you take pennies, draw symbols on them representing different areas of your life. Then you take a cloth and draw on it diagonal lines from the center to the 4 corners. The top section represents positive energy, the left change, the bottom negative energy the right section an area that needs work. I spread my cloth, close my eyes and cast my pennies (sometimes I just choose one or a few pennies representing the areas of my life I am seeking info about). then I look at how they fell. If they are symbol side down, I don't need to concentrate on that area at this time. If they are symbol side up, I interpret where they fell (it only counts if they are on the cloth) The closer they are to the middle, the stronger the need is at the moment. I like to do this at the start of the day, it gives me an outline on what to concentrate on, and what to take a breather from. It is really simple, and has proven very useful.

Sounds interesting. Why pennies? Can you use anything that allows you to draw the symbols? Do you use any special material (fabric, pen, etc)?

I have the Sacred Circle Tarot, the Rider-Waite, and The Enchanted Tarot. I bought the Rider-Waite originally to use as a learning deck but the yellow background of the cards was extremely annoying. The Enchanted Tarot was the first tarot I ever bought and I do plan on using it one day but the imagery is so...complex that I feel unable to comprehend it yet. So far I'm using the Sacred Circle Tarot the most but using is a loose term. I haven't actually done a tarot reading, I'm focusing on learning and connecting with the cards right now.

I use pennies because they are cheap and available. I write on them with a Sharpie marker, and usually use a paper towel for the cloth!
I guess you can see that I don't think the details are critical. I think it is fine to use what you have, what you like, what moves you. I know some people enjoy the process of choosing special materials and creating their tools, I think that is great. I do it when I have the resources (time,$, inspiration) at other times I go spartan.
So...have at it and enjoy!

I don't have anything.
hmmm, you have yourself. That's the most powerful thing to divination. I think everything else are just tools to channel your inner energy.
Just a thought. :-)

here's my pendulum... ^_^;;
the elements play an important role in my path, so i put charms on it to represent every element except Spirit, because i believe Spirit dominates the pendulum itself and needn't be represented. ^^
In order:
Fire - i love the night sky and love stars so i picked a star charm to represent Fire.
Air - i love birds! :D i also love feathers themselves, so soft and fine... :hearteyes Air is my element, and what better thing to represent it than something i love, ne?
Water - i love Seahorses..... they & Sea otters are my favorite marine animals. ^_^
Earth - i LOVE veggies and vegitables grow from the Earth, hence them representing that element on my pendulum. :)
on the end of the chain is a metal ring that i place on my middle finger when using the pendulum..... i love rings.
i love silver (the color & metal), so my pendulum is comprised completely of silver-colored metals and i've noted the metal contents of each part of my pendulum (sterling silver, nickel, & pewter). :caffeine:

I have several divination tools.
I have a pendulum(sp?), the Druid Animal Oracle, A Crystal Ball, and I used to have several tarot decks and a set of runes that were made for me by my mother-in-law because I was way to sick to attend the class she was holding on how to make them.
The pendulum I got really seems to like me. We "mesh" well. LOL. I'm hoping to get a new tarot deck as all I have left is the oracle and I hope to get a new set of runes as well as get some other new forms.

I use tarot on a daily basis. I also utilize astrology and numerology. I have an interest in other systems but I haven't put them into practice.

I have two tarot decks, a set of runes, a crystal ball I use for meditation- not divination, and a pendulum I have never used. I had a really nice pendulum, but I got rid of it.

I have a NAI Medicine Cards oracle deck, I use a crystal pendulum, and have been working on making my own Rune set out of some olive shells.
Edited to add :
I just finished my rune set and scanned them.

Im getting a green amber crystal ball for christmas but for now....i have yes/no rocks. I know its sort of lame but they work for me really well. I blessed and concecrated them so a black rock tells me no and a white rock tells me yes, i also know if the decision is unclear because when i draw them if it seems unsure i draw again and if i get two different responses i know it is unclear. They have helped me make a lot of decisions! But i am learning tarot and runes plus i cant wait for my ball, its SOOOOO pretty!undefined

Mostly Tarot and Runes. I have some other systems as well, including I Ching.
I have at least a dozen tarot decks that clamor for my attention.
I have a small crystal ball, but tend to put it to other magical uses, particularly journeywork.
I've wanted to learn more about it's use as a scrying too, though.
