:) Greeting one and all,
Failte to Celtic Witchcraft.. One of your assignments is to tell me 5 goals you want to accomplish in your lifetime. I will list 5 of mine so you?re not alone.
1. to help the Pagan community
2. Become a better teacher
3. Do some more volunteering
4. Take better care of myself
5. To teach my Grandson my path
See nothing hard about that.
This first lesson is going to be simple. I want you to introduce your self to me. Again this should not very hard.
Next I want you to write me a short essay on what you believe Celtic witchcraft is about. The reason I ask you to do this is on your final this same question will be given out to you and I want you to compare what you thought it was about to what you'll know then.
You have 2 weeks to turn in your home work to me. In all your lessom you will have two weeks to get them in on time. PLEASE if your going to be late at ANY time getting these lessons into me e-mail me tell me
why. I am a very understanding person when it comes this.
This should be your only easy lesson. You will need all of your two weeks from here on out.Again, welcome and I wish you all success on your journey of knowledge.
Brightest Blessings

Merry meet,I am an elf musician seeking wisdom. My goals are: to heal the ozone,
to own a huge farm to feed millions,
heal the ozone and anyone who crosses my path who wants to be healed,
own an animal shelter where the animals are healed and taken care of,
write beautiful words and set them to music.
My daughter has past life memories of being Celtic a long time age.The memories are not to clear but she know that they all were into nature.I'm hoping Celtic witchcraft is about understanding the inner meaning in the seasons, elements, being closer to wind, trees,rocks...

Greetings teacher, and thank you once more for teaching this class :) I suppose I should get to the reasons so I can begin my outline for my essay.
1. To gain as much knowledge as I can during this incarnation.
2. To create music and verse to share what I know with the world.
3. To become close to the elements and the natural world around us, becoming one again with nature.
4. To learn more about my celtic roots, and one day go live out the rest of my years in Ireland.
5. To help and heal myself and all those around me.

hmmmm....well, I'm not sure about that essay.....I'm not sure what Celtic Craft is all about, which is why I'm here. I've tried finding local classes to give me some info, but haven't found anything yet. I just have a long LONG list of books to read!
Introducing myself? Ah...I am me. I am a soon-to-be step-mom, and hopefully a soon-to-be mom. I believe I am a hereditary witch. I began my studies about a year ago in a search to understand my abilities & the things that had been happening to me all my life. My goals? Simple things. Nothing so grand as some others listed: to love, make a home for myself & my family, to learn more about my Celtic heritage, to continue to grow & develop my abilities & knowledge-to grow in wisdom, to always remember to take time to take care of myself & my spirit.

1. To further my education and to continue to strive to obtain knowledge on all levels.
2. To be a more loving and understanding mother to my son, whom is the dearest blessing of my heart.
3. To visit my homeland...to lie my head upon her sandy soil...to know I am home. It can be sad to feel such a pang in one’s heart for a place to which they have never been.
4. To overcome my fears...and to learn to trust.
5. To become a better person through my faith and love.

MM. MM ducky7.Learning about The Goddess's animals is a very honourable thing to do.For Her creatures are unable to communicate when they are in dire straights, and need the loving and caring hands of a human to help them. They put their trust and their lives in human hands to save and protect them.Helping those that cross your path is also a generous and loving gesture. The world needs more people like yourself!!!

MM Aine.Just write what you think Celtic Witchcraft is.That is why there is a class,so that I can share what I know and help you to discover more. That loooong list of books you have to read are your best tools to start with.Read and ask questions and read ,read, read, some more. That is how I started and I was like a human sponge, because the more I read, the more I wanted to learn.Your goals are Grand because they are personal and dear to you.To want to continue to grow and expand your wisdom and to take care of yourself and your spirit honours the Goddess. There are many tools that you will use in your lifetime, but the only tool that has any meaning is yourself and spirit.Without taking care of yourself and spirit, all is hollow and only a shadow. And I know you will be a great Mom.

My name is Merris here. A working name I've found to be useful in focusing my attention.
I do most things as a solitary and a few with others. I have the curiosity of a litter of kittens and all the patience of a ping pong ball.
My lifelong goals.....I have many, here's a few.
1) To never shut down or shut out the people I care about. I need to remember they care about me too.
2)Keep the promises I make, only make promises I can keep. I want to be someone my children look up to, someone I can respect.
3) Learn as much as I can, as often as I can. Follow my chosen path as far as I can and learn about others on the way.
4) Help someone else, however I can. Give someone a reason to smile and hope they pass it on like an epidemic. :hehehehe:
5) I want to build a house. A safe place for every child on the planet. Someplace where there are bedtime stories and happy birthdays.
Thanks LadyWillowHawk for putting your time into this class. Hope I don't drive you batty..or is it birdy?....something. :hehehehe:

Little intro to moi....I'm a college student and love to learn, which is why I'm enrolled in five classes. I was barely able to restrain myself to that many! I'm the type that wants to know everything NOW without going through the tedium of trial and error, so I hope I don't wear on anyone's nerves. According to my friends, I'm a crazy redhead and I love to laugh, pretty easy going. However, when needed, I'll buckle down and apply all my attention to the task at hand, so I'm not *completely* flighty. Here are five of my personal goals:
1. To remember compassion in trying times
2. To remember that relationships take effort and communication, and that to make it last a lifetime, I must be willing to work a lifetime for it
3. To graduate college in the next 3 years!
4. To one day find my life's purpose, or maybe even just discover that I don't need one
5. To grow old with grace, dignity and hang on to my happiness as long as possible, even through the pain
6. I know this is extra, but I feel it's important : To be a good person, no matter how f'ed up and crazy this world around us becomes

ok, lets see. I'm 36 and a mother of 2 gorgeous girls 7 & 11. I"m happily married to one of the most wonderful men in the world. My goals:
1. To continue to have a happy life with my family
2. To continue to learn about my path and become as spiritual person as I can be
3. To open my own business with my friend
4. To heal people in and out of my business
5. To teach my daughters and my husband my path if they so choose
6. To continue to love people and all living things
(Ok...thats 6)
As far as the essay goes, I honestly dont know what it entails. This is why I'm here. When I think of Celtic I think of Irish, so I guess I think its Irish witchcraft. and since I dont really know anything about the Irish I'm just kinda stuck on this one.

I am 18 and I'll be going to college soon for design/animation.
My 5 goals in life are.... :
1) To never turn down a person or animal in need
2) To be content in my own skin, and to be happy (inner peace and losing my bitterness is included in this goal...:))
3) To learn as much as I can about the different paths of Paganism
4) To become a published author
5) To create profound visual art that inspires people ( and makes me some money :shhhh: )
As far as an essay goes, I'm not sure how long you want it... My essays are usually about 5 paragraphs long  but I'll write a brief summary of my experience with celtic experiences. I have read the book kindling the celtic spirit by Maura Freeman (i think that's the title). Basically I know some of the goddesses and gods, I know the legend of the shide and I know some rituals. I have also noticed that a lot of the rituals are used in modern day festivals.
I guess I know kind of a lot, but I can't seem to organize my thoughts *glares at brother making a lot of noise* :fishsmack
I just thought this class would be very interesting and enhance what I have already begun to learn. :)
Oh, I forgot to add, that I feel a sense of familiarity when it comes to celtic traditions, it feels familiar and right, and I am drawn to celtic literature/traditions :). I am eclectic wiccan right now, but I have a feeling that if you ask me in another year or so, I'll be celtic wiccan....

I really dont know what celtic witchcraft is. Whenever I read about faeries they talk about celtic witchcraft. Also some of the gods and goddesses are celtic. That is pretty much all I know, which is why I am taking this class. :)

Greetings, honorable Sensei!
What do I hope to accomplish in my life?
1. Kids. Preferably 2, no more than 3. And I want them to turn into goodhearted, productive citizens.
2. Philanthropy. I've always envisioned setting up a scholarship fund. Perhaps the "Williams Wiccan scholarship"!
3. To be a positive impact on the people around me. To make people feel better after they talk to me than they did before they talked to me.
4. Promote religious tolerance, perhaps through a group like the "Spiral Scouts"
5. Travel to...well, travel. I have a long list of things I want to do before I die, but they aren't what I'd consider "accomplishments"
What do I hope to accomplish by learning about Celtic Witchcraft?
1. A deeper connection to may ancestors (I'm welsh/Irish)
2. A better understanding of rituals. Not just the hows, but the whys.
3. A better understanding of Celtic Mythology. It's always fascinated me, but it's hard to grasp.
4. To better be able to serve my patron god, Lugh Lamfhada, god of all knowledge. And what better way to serve the god of all knowledge than to take a class?
5. To become more confident in my spellwork, and increase my willingness to do spellwork. Right now, I have to talk myself into it, and I feel like I'm not "doing it right".

Hello me Lady,
My Name is Maric Mac Rae. I'm a 27 year old living a military life as well as a Pagan life. I've concidered myself Pagan for about 12 years now. I have been very solitare in the past but now I am trying to grow my branches. I have an extreme curiosity for all religions and cultures. I have done a lot of personal research on many diffrent religions and/or ways of life. I concider my self PectiWita (Scotish Witchcraft). I was strongly influenced by Raymond books. I have a deep Scottish history and ancestry.
My Goals.
1. I would absolutly love to be the first military Pagan Chaplin. I feel that pagans are no represented enough, and there is still some iffy areas in the millitary concerning Pagans.
2. I have always loved helping people and would love to teach some day.
3. I have always wanted to live entirely through nature without help from modern things. A life away from concrete and steel, nothing but the earth and me.
4. I wish to gain complete happieness. Rid of all worries and concerens. I have always belived that if the world population would make a compromise between button pushing/modern technology and Old Ways the entire world would become a better place.
5. My last goal, this one I think is the hardest, I wish I could pick up every peice of trash on the planet. I have been all over the world and no matter how clean that place is, there is trash everywhere. Even underwater! I'm a new scuba diver and I was amazed at how much people littler and how much ends up in the ocean is absultly dispicable!
Celtic WitchCraft
I think that the Celtic Craft is based stongly on the earth and the spirts that envoke the earth. The Celts had many Gods and Goddesses. The also envoked these deitys to help them with their everyday lives. I don't remember excatly, but I think Gardner based a lot of his style from Celtic Witch Craft.
I have a question about the class.. Are all the asingments due by the 15th or just certian ones?

I'm a new scuba diver and I was amazed at how much people littler and how much ends up in the ocean is absultly dispicable!
Celtic WitchCraft
I think that the Celtic Craft is based stongly on the earth and the spirts that envoke the earth. The Celts had many Gods and Goddesses. The also envoked these deitys to help them with their everyday lives. I don't remember excatly, but I think Gardner based a lot of his style from Celtic Witch Craft.
I have a question about the class.. Are all the asingments due by the 15th or just certian ones?
MM Maric and welcome.Your goals are all attainable and you sound like you have a strong will and determination to reach your goals.Becoming a Pagan Chaplin is a calling that is terribly needed in the military and I pray you are the first.I also was solitary for a long time and felt I could grow by learning from others. Not having someone to share it with was very lonely and I am glad that I grew branches also.*grin*
Lesson 1 is due on the 15th of this month and all others follow every 2 weeks. At the end of each lesson I will post the date when homework is due.Again welcome to the class.

Greetings LadyWillowHawk, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to teach this class. I think it'll be very helpful to me, not to mention educational.
My Goals:
1) I wish to travel to a developping country and offer my services and help them as much as I can.
2) I wish to gain knowledge, and more importantly comprehension, of the pagan paths avaiable to me.
3) I wish to become a veterinarian so that I may help the animalsof this world, preferably the large wild ones.
4) I wish to gain a confidence in my wiccan works.
5) I wish to see the world the goddess has created. I wish to see its beauties, its mysteries, its treasures.
I hope this is enough for now......

Here is my five goals:
1. To learn and grow spiritually, to find harmony, and to help others on the path.
2. To have a happy healthy family and life. And to learn of my Celtic ancestors and their ways.
3. To have a secure financial household ( sounds silly but it seems to always be our problem). Or to learn how to have a secure financial household and to maintain it.
4. To achieve my dream of becoming a Veterinary Technician, So I am able to help our loving animal companions!! And to open our own low cost clinic !!
5. To find truth in all that I can. And to help in anyway I can.
Ok, well that was probably more than five in all that....lol...But you get the picture....

oops...heehee....a little about myself...well
I am 26 year old female, I live with my beautiful partner Cali Moonfyre, We have a boxer (Kira), Golden Retreiver/chow/corgi....yes i know weird combination...lol...(Ringo)....2 cats (Cleo(short for Cleopatra) and Snickers)....We also have 5 guinea pigs...lol . As for the Celtic Witchcraft I have always been drawn to it since I was little. My grandmother is 100% Irish and very proud of it...lol and has passed that down to me. I have always liked the Celtic Jewelry and all and the few stories that my grandmother has told me, but I have wanted to learn more of the Celtic ways and my ancestors.
So I started reading about the Celtic Gods and Goddesses....which is a little confusing at first :hehehehe: ...but gets better as I go along... :)
I look forward to learning all I can from this class!! Thank you so much for teaching!!

To introduce myself, My name is Hazel, I'm 20 years old, I'm very happily married, I'm a Front Desk Receptionist at a hotel, and of course I'm an ever learning Witch.
Well, I honestly don't know what a Celtic Witch is, I hope to learn alot about it though, it sounds like the right path I would like to be on. I'm a little bit Irish, so....???
Well, my Grandmother was half Irish and half Scotish. Isn't that Celtic? See, I really don't know! Blessed Be and thank you for teaching us!
I am always working on goals and I'm always trying to improve myself. I guess If I had to narrow it down:
1. To make my lovely husband very happy.
2. To be able to do REAL true magick, stuff I've only read about in books and seen on t.v.
3. To have a fun AND funny filled life with my friends and family.
4. To own my own Inn one day.
and last but not least...
5. To live a magickal life, always, to just have magick all around me.

You know, reading back through my post, I didn't really introduce myself.
I'm a Dayton, OH resident (Fairborn, actually, if you know where that is). I have a degree in MIS from Wright State University, which has done me zeero good since everyone wants experience, or at least some technical knowledge (MIS is a business degree). I'm currently applying for a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, as a navigator or an Air Battle Manager (I don't know what an ABM does, but my recruiter says that my AFOQT scores qualify me to be one :) )
I'm happily married (for almost two months now!) to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 cats, 6 rats, and a rabbit. I'm addicted to my computer in general and MW in particular. I've been a Wiccan for going on a year now. Umm...I like science, reading, and movies. The last movie I saw was "The Punisher", but I'm looking forward to going to Van Helsing.
That's about it.

My goals are:
1. To learn everything I can
2. To be published
3. To learn to love myself more
4. To go to South America and build houses with my Uncle (He runs the Habitat for Humanity near me)
5. To learn to be more caring
6. To learn how to spell, hehe (maybe it's me, but everything I write looks like it's spelled wrong when it's online)
7. To wear a kilt (bit of a short term goal)
I've been a pagan since I was 12. I decided I was a celtic pagan two years ago, but I have very little knowledge of celtic witchcraft. I have been practicing what ever felt right to me for the past two years. I really don't know anything about celtic witchcraft, and that's why I'm here. I've heard that it has more to do with connecting with the earth than wiccan magick, but I really don't know what the heck that means.

5 Things I want to accomplish in my Lifetime
To be financially secure, and not have to worry about money so much.
To be ‘spiritually secure’.
Be living in a place that makes me happy.
To eventually make my life in this hellish place worth it.
Help other people, somehow.
As for the essay… I know nothing about the Celtics, so I can’t even begin to say what I think Celtic Witchcraft it. I’m sooo clueless.

I'm not quite sure where to start. I have been searching for information on Celtic witchcraft for the past year or so without any luck. I have particularly been searching for information on Irish craft.
What do I think Celtic witchcraft is? I believe it is something very close to Traditional witchcraft--something much older than Wicca, very close to Shamanism and Druidism, yet not quite. I believe it is very intuitive and very personal at it's most basic level. It is something very undefined for me, but I hope to correct that during this class.
Ok, I know that sucks, but .......... it's the best I got right now.

4. To rid myself of this crippling depression.
5. To live a happy and carefree life. :veryweird

GoodMorn and Merry Meet
I am so sorry about the lateness of my first assignment. I just joined your class yesterday and this is the quickest I was able to get my answers together.
My Goals
1) To help my son to grow into the best man he can be
2)Not only to continue working on becoming the best wife and mother I can be but more importantly the best me I can be
3)To learn at least one new thing everyday for the remainder of my life
4)To understand the basis of my fears so that I can release them
5)To remember that everybody not just me, is intitled to their own beliefs and opinions, and even though their's may not coincide with mine that doesn't not automatically make them wrong just different
My Intro
Merry Meet
My name is Bonnie. Although I do have and use a magical name I prefer when in a person to person type setting to use my given name. I now live in Oklahoma, major culture shock, am married with one child and many furries. I found this path about 25 years ago, but only came to the decission to give myself over to it about six years ago. As I was so aptly informed a few days ago I am a crone in training. Thats just a nice way of saying I'm getting a little long in the tooth. I have just recently decided to begin my formal pagan education which is what brings me to this class and this point today.
What I believe Celtic Witchcraft to be
Ok this is going to be somewhat simplistic since I only have my own suppositions to fall back on.
I would think that Celtic Witchcraft would be based on old Celtic customs and traditions. Their ideas of right and wrong intermingled with the hardships and joys of everyday life. That is would incorporate not only the Celtic Pantheon but also the inhabitents of the Fae realm as well as the vegitation and wildlife of the region.
