Witchcraft 101

Does anyone know any books that aren't Witchcraft 101 books. I find that almost every Website and book I look at is all about the basics. I just was looking for books at amazon.com and I couldn't find one that wasn't a "how to be a Witch book" Its really starting to tick me off....
So if anyone knows any good books that are not Witchcraft 101 books...please respond.

This should be in the book forum, but I'll respond anyway...I have a couple of books that aren't Wicca 101 type books. Stuff like Drawing down the Moon and an old witchy book written by Sybil Leek (a quite famous witch in the 60's)...if I can find it again, I'll let you know the title. :crazy: Unfortunately there are two few witchcraft books that aren't the how-to kind....

Have you ever read the Mists of Avalon??? :D

I haven't read mysts of Avalon, but I've seen a few threads on it and I was wondering what is was. ;)

I agree, Mists is a great book! At least what I've read so far ;)

Have you thought about which tradition you'd like to follow? I'm interested in the Celtic traditions, and I have a few books that I have and haven't read yet, or started reading.

They are:

Celtic Heritage by Alwyn & Brinley Rees
The Celtic Word edited by Miranda Green
The Pagan Religons of the Ancient British Isles by Ronald Hutton

I have a list of a few others too. BTW, I got these titles a while ago from a site listed on the MW Resource list!

as far as tradition go, I probably won't settle down with one. But thanks for the book ideas...I love reading, even if its not about the path I follow :) I'm just sick of picking up a book and finding yet another introduction to Wicca.
