Okay you guys lost and I mean LOST me on the whole pendulum thing. I read the whole thing.....so you dont need to bumb it or anything. I just dont get HOW you do it and HOW to make one. A GREAT help would be if you could post a pick of your pendulum so I can see what yours actually looks like. But yeah I was lost way back there <-------------------------------. So thanx and Blessed Be ya'll-

Hola, Chica
You can make one as simply as threading a needle, then sticking the needle in the eraser of a pencil (you CAN just use a needle & thread, if the needle is heavy enough). You can usually find pendulums with stone pendants (such as quartz, amethyst, moonstone, hematite, etc) on some kind of a chain or cord at most places that sell incense & candles ('new age' type shops & book stores. Is there a 'Clair's' in your local mall?). They vary in price, but I've seen nice ones for as little as $2-$3.
To use a pendulum: hold it by the thread/cord/chain, letting the pendant dangle. You can hold it over your hand, or a table top, or 'empty space'. Ask the pendulum something like "Which way means yes?", & observe what it does (ie., moves right-to-left, clockwise, etc). Then ask "Which way means no?", & observe that reaction. You can also draw a circle on a piece of paper, then draw a line from left-to-right through the circle, & label it Yes, & a line from top-to-bottom, & label it No. Which ever line the pendulum follows, there's your answer (if it goes in a circle, either it can't or won't answer that question).
Having determined how to tell whether the pendulum is saying yes or no, you are now ready to begin using it.
Good Luck, & Happy Pending!

Hello,
I am new here and found the post above excellent. I do have a suggestion that may help you. If you wear a ring, or other personal piece, take it off and run a string through the ring. Then make a card that says yes and one that says no. Practice holding the pendulum over each card thinking only yes or no and let the motion show you what is yes and what is no. Not everyone has the same response.
After you know your yes and your no then ask a question that can be answered with a yes or a no. The trick is to keep your question simple.
For example should I quit my job and move to Hawaii?
Maybe you should move but not quit, notice it really is two questions.
I teach this in my community and would be happy to help you with any further questions.
Blessed Be!

Excellent point about using a ring (or most any other item that can be made to 'pend').
