i live in the uk and am looking for a book on crystals and healing that is easy to understand do any of you nice peeps no any that i can get hold of that dont cost loads as i am always skint!!! :hehehehe:

Oh dear ben so long since I was in my homeland...too long. The best book I can think of you would have to order from on line. It is Scott Cunninghams book on crystals and gems and metals. Go to Azuregreen.com or Isis.com and look in their book dept. And see about the book there. I do not know how much it is in pounds and pence, but here it is 14.95 US. plus shipping. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

I agree, I have this book as well and I use it a lot when I want to know more about stones. I also like 'All About Crystals' by Connie Islin, I like it that she gives a lot of information. It's not only about crystals either but all kind of stones.

another you might look at is "Love is in the Earth" by Melody
it is very comprehensive and covers a lot of the more odd stones that the others don't
it's a bit pricey and big so would be heavy for shipping, but if you really want a good one that is the way to go

I agree. Hands down this is the book that I want. I have checked it out at the library. I was so upset when the inter library loan came in for library use only!

This one not only covers a vast number of stones but is covers the properties well. I have eyt to find another that was anywhere near as complete. I have been searching for quite some time.

I like the Crystal Decoder By Sue Lilly. It is a wonderful book and has some amazing info in it.

I was lucky enough to pick that one up in Dutch at a discount price. What I like about this book is the many beautiful illustrations.

I also like The Book of Crystal Healing by Liz Simpson. It really is about chackra's and healing with stones and comes with exercises and visualisation training. For someone who very actively wants to use stones for healing.
