The fae and others

I have heard of working with faeries and such and have become very interested with it and i am looking at how i can contct them. I also would like to contact any othe mystical creatures that you can think of to send my way. Working with these other worldly beasts i guess you could say just seems for me like i should walk down that path to meet up with my next fork in the road so any help would be appreciated.

Well, Klucky is offering a class on contacting Dragons in the Circle of Teaching, which I'm a part of (I think there's still time to join- head to the sign up thread or pm Klucky). As for faeries/sprites, I've found that they love shiny things- beads, coins, shiny rocks... Maybe set up a little altar for them with some shiny things and some water.. also, if you're home alone or comfortable doing so, put on some music and dance, and offer to let them dance with you- they love it! But be warned- they have a habit of 'borrowing' things... :lol: ... Keep your precious jewelry and other collected trinkets in a safe place, or they have a habit of wandering off. First welcome them in and secondly give them a gift of something shinny. Believe me they are almost all kelptos. Also remember to always stay polite.

I just posted a thread in the Green Room with pics of my faerie garden. I'm still learning to use my new camera.....if you look on the ground under the swing, you'll see that I've placed some glass stars there to satisfy their love of shiny things.

Since I have two houses, I actually have two faerie gardens. These pics are of the one I started after our handfasting last year. I've had the other for three or four years. Most of the offerings I place there are items that I find just about wherever I go. They especially like me to bring them rocks or tree bark from places I go to on my freelance job. I can be standing amid 1,000 rocks and they will tell me exactly which one to bring home. They also like sweet things, so I sometimes will leave them a piece of cake or cookie.
