Hello, I'm not sure where to put this, but I needed it to be done. I just found my hamster "Guy" dead, and I feel so guilty. I don't know if it's my fault, or he just died. I just wanted people to wish him a peaceful passing, and that whatever happens to hamsters after death, happens well to him. It would be much appreciated.

I'm sure you gave him a very happy life in this plane of existance - may his essence always be in your heart. It's funny, the littler the pet, the less some people seem to think they mean - I lost my beloved budgie, Benson, recently, and I miss him terribly, despite my work colleagues thinking I'm insane for taking him home to my parents garden to be buried. Lots of love and hugs to you, and I hope that you can share your obvious love for furry critters with another deserving little one soon.

I'm sure you must have done all you could to make a happy life for your little ham-ham. This is the way of rodents, they have a very short time on our earth. And as our vet once said to us, as we were trying to get antibiotics down our hamster's throat: we could do all we could, try all the medicine in the world, but if the hamster has given up, then they die. Hamsters just tend to do that.
We love our little ham-ham, and hope she never loses that will to live. Best of luck to you, energies for a peaceful rest for the hamster, and peace for you.

thank you all :)
Klucky and I buried Guy in my backyard, and I hope that he has a good journey :)
Oh, and I had two hamsters Guy, and I still have Zelda (they were in seperate cages). So at least I'm not completely empty handed :)

I have a picture in my mind, ogf your beloved furbuddy, playing in a grassy feild with other animals He is happy and wants for nothing. Be well dearone and know your hamster is always with you. I truely beleive that when one of our furpeople passes he/she becomes a guide for the ones they left behind. Calming energy to you.
