This is the wallpaper in my grandparents' laundry room bathroom. It hasn't been changed since the 70's.
Okie Dokie who else has ugly wallpaper!

*laughs* We moved into our house in Sept. and decided to redo the walls in the upstairs den... we found at least *SEVEN* layers of wallpaper, combined with coats of paint. It took us a week to pull all of that off the walls so we could redo them lol.

When I moved into my house one bedroom had pink gingham wallpaper and one wall was painted hot pink. The rug is still hot pink *sigh* but the walls are a more dignified eggshell. My condo had a pink rug in the "master"bedroom and pink and white flowered wallpaper. I kept wondering where my white french pronincial canaopy bed had gone with the strawberry shortcake bedspread.

The room I'm in now, is technically, pink, but with the right lighting you can't really tell :p

Not wall paper but the house my parents live in now had the three bedrooms painted pink, teal and turquoise and all had brown & turquoise shag carpeting! Ugh!!

My bedroom had olive green shag carpet, and mustard yellow walls.
My sister had eggplant purple accents (door, window sills, etc.)
The bathroom was split in half horizontally. The top was pink and white pinstripes with the pink stipes alternating width. The bottom was blue ivy...
WTF were people thinking back then???

my friends are redoing a house to be a bed and breakfast (eventually)...there was one room that we nicknamed the hooka room....
emerald green carpet, green glass on the lights, old herringbone green and light green wallpaper (tight herringbone, from a distance its just green) and green "faux" victorian furniture....with 10 ft ceilings. we figured that whomever did that room musta been smokin' something they shouldn't have.

My loft has emerald green carpet! I can't decide If I like it lol (I'm doing a jungle theme upstairs)
All wallpaper should be burnt. Especially those in bathrooms! (Showers make them peel off!) Cool paint color and technique is the only way to go! (I'm redoing my house right now, we moved a few months ago after I redid the other one. It's sad considering I'm 16 and I"m better at it than my stuck-in-the70's-ugly-decor- parents)
