I pose this question: What happens when the sun explodes and the earth is destroyed? Will we all be reincarnate don other planets?

That is good qustion me my self I hope that if that happens I hope I get put on pluto!! I love the cold. Well If the sun was gone then I guess that all of the planets would be cold so it really wouldn't matter verey much then. This can get confussing.

Sure why not? Personally I would like to incarnate into a planet. I could see myself as a planet like neptune!!!
I dont believe that we can only be humans, only on Earth, nor limited to just a lifeform. Why not try out being a rock? I believe spirit is energy and spirit is in everything. Spirit is organised energy. I also believe we pick who, what, where and when we are.
Thats how I look at it!

I actually have no idea. Perhaps reincarnation will end then, and we will all evolve to another type of existence...

being a large boulder atop a mountain with it's face to the west would be such a peaceful exsistance. ^^ I beleive we'll incarnate as Aiens, or maybe little bacteria on mars...

If it ends up being in the Milkway Galaxy we can rest content knowing our wisdom will continue.. since we'll still be in a spiral arm galaxy... although if we get sent elswhere... who knows what we will have... perhaps that Whirlgig Dance? :)

Since I believe in multiple planes of existance, I think we will continue to "live" just not in a form that we are now familiar with.

I would like to comment on an observation, If I may.
I noticed several....'where I get sent', and ideas of that nature. I personally feel I have control of my destiny. Its my choice. I am surprised when I hear people say 'they are sent'. I feel my spirit is a very advanced energy form, since it is capable of manifastation in the first place, so it (which is me) can make all the choices of its own destiny.
Just an observation and my 2cents. :)

I don't mean to be negative but there is a possibility that the human race is already extinct by the time this happens... but if it's not I would like to think of us all happy elsewhere in the universe or beyond.

Only if time actually IS linear, which many belief systems have accepted that it is not (mine included). In other words, your next incarnation could very well be in the past, so it wouldn't matter what happens when the world ends because we have all of history to choose from.
Clear as mud?

I agree...I don't think that we live a linear existance in spirit form. Besides...the earth is simply a school for us to grow in...a teacher in a way. If this school closes, we'll simply move on to another.

I agree, time is a human concept. Thats why I say what, where, and when inspeaking of reincarnation. :)

yes, but it certainly is an important subject, I think.
I know this sounds immature but I can't picture the human race just 'dying out'.
We're the ultimate virus, and the only way to destroy us is if the sun explodes, which it will, thats a fact. I speculate we'll evolve with the surroundings, we can't just be frozen to death like the dinosaurs.

If we are all to become dead as we know death now, because of the sun, then I agree that we'll end up where we think we will end up. I sort of believe in the afterlife like the movie What Dreams May Come. But as a uu, I also believe that we all go back to the life source to either become part of it/him/her. And if we are able to keep coming back for reincarnation, then it will most likely be on another planet in this form or something similar. I don't really know, but it's nice to wonder.

They already have proven that other solar systems have their own suns as well and that there is another planet like earth.. what they might call it.. "earth 2"? I dont know but im sure that is where we would go :)

By the time the sun explodes I would expect (assuming we haven't already destroyed ourselves) that we would have space travel mastered and the ability to recolonize another planet near another sun (or which ever kind of star our sun is). However, I think this would have grave effects on humans. I feel our species is bonded to the trinity of the earth, sun, and moon. Without one of these three necessities things will begin to fall apart unless we can evolve quick enough to avoid the possible effects.

Phae,
Do you also believe in fate? If we could reincarnate into beings in history couldn't we then change history or do you believe we have no real choices we just follow the path which is already laid for us? Or do you feel we can and do change history? How would that work?
Hehe I'm a curious one.

Phae,
Do you also believe in fate?
Sort of. I believe that while we are in between incarnations (call it the Otherworld, the Summerlands, Heaven, whatever), we decide what lessons we need to learn in our next incarnation. We plan it all out, and we pick our place. When we are ready, we are born, and even though we cannot remember what it is we have planned or what came before, we sort of instinctively know what it is we are here to do ... that is why when you have a huge choice to make, and you make the wrong one ... you feel it ... because you set out the plan, and you didn't stick to it.
If we could reincarnate into beings in history couldn't we then change history or do you believe we have no real choices we just follow the path which is already laid for us? Or do you feel we can and do change history? How would that work?
How well do you remember your past lives? And even if you did remember wholly a past life that was in the future ... how many people do you think would listen to you if you tried to change anything? They would think you are crazy ... probably lock you up or medicate you so you couldn't hurt yourself. And that is just nowadays. In centuries past you may have found yourself burnt at the stake ... or if you were lucky, a prophet like Nostradomus.
That is how I see it anyway ... hope that helps :) Feel free to ask any more questions you might have. I have always liked discussing this topic.

Oooh you know I never thought about it but that's a good way of explaining prophets and near-death experiences where people claim to have seen the future. It could also point out why some people are absoulutely fascinated with certain time periods (medieval, dinosaur era, greek/roman era, etc.) As well as those who are fascinated with sci-fi and future consepts. Hmm. Definently something to think about, thanks Phae! :spinner:

It really does warm my heart :heartthro to know that I am not the only one around who thinks farther than my own lifetime into the future. I would like to think that we will become a race so advanced, that we will help to take care of Earth and co-exist peacefully ( for a change ) and after that, I think we all will be on different levels of existance, doing our own things. I know Earth won't always be here, kinda sad hunh? But with every ending there is a new beginning. :fofftopic I think if I can remember after this incarnation is over, I want to go where there is water for miles around. Oh, but yes! The point I wanted to make is that I don't think we will even be on the planet when our sun explodes. We were ( were we? ) all somplace else when everything exploded into existance right? Everyday, we are also protected from being bombarded with big ateroids and space debris. All of this security must be for a reason, so I don't think we will be here for that event.

Good question. I don't think that if we came back on another planet, we would be humans as we are now because as far as we know, we can't live on those planets as we are. But we may come back as some lifeform on Saturn or whatever that maybe already exists there but we just dont know about or see them.

Hehe I'm a curious one.
just to add in my opinion. the whole idea of past, present and future is a very human and linear concept. i, for one, believe that time is circular which means that if your next life is in the 'past' then you cant change the future because when someone is in the future you have already made your choices and lived your life. this doesnt mean that you dont have a say in your choices it just means that they have already happened.
im sure that doesnt help but i know what i mean and im sure some other people do too, so if anyone wants to try and explain it better please do. tenses dont help to explain circular time concepts either. lol
blessed be and happy ponderings
