I'd like to say it was fun, but... well, being a target for unwarranted abuse loses it's charm after a while.

I have no desire to be a part of any community where I must change who I am, what I am, or what I think to fit in.

Therefore, I shall not return. In a situation such as this there is always a sore temptation to make parting jabs, but I will refrain.

Now if I can just figure out how to unsubscribe myself...

I'm terribly sorry you feel that way, Alex...but let me just say something. I have not read many of your posts, so I am not sre where I'm coming from when I say this, but I think you're worth posting replies to. ^_^ I don't care what anyone else says, you seem like an intelligent human being and I'm sorry to lose you from the community. I accept everyone here and I believe you deserve some respect...I'm terribly sorry that anyone else here has made you feel you have to leave....but remember, not everyone here hates you...

Everyone who is willing to abide by a few rules, and use a small amount of common courtesy is more than welcome here. If you really want to unsubscribe, ask Mol to deactivate your account.

:( :( I'm so sorry you feel this way, Alex. I know your introduction to this community was rather rocky, but have we really been so bad to you since? Mind you, I tend to miss all the threads with the "mean streaks."

When asked to adhere to our rules (which are few) this member denied. He requested that his account be deactivated, but frankly, denial of the rules warrants deactivation unfortunately. He could have been a great member had he respected other members and their beliefs.

im just sorry to say that i never read one of his post so i cant really judge him... but as a wiccan i try to reframe from judging others. but i agree with mol if they cant obey the rules they shouldnt be here. i know i shouldnt be talking i broke a few rules my self and i was caught but i admitted to the wrong doing and stood up for my self.

Hmm. Maybe I'm just in a soul-less mood at the moment, but Alex was very closed-minded about certain things and said some things that were hurtful to some people's beliefs. While I can expect that kind of thing from the average person, Alex claimed to be a degreed Wiccan. And that I just can't accept.

Instead of growing as a person, opening his mind, and contributing posative energies to this forum, he continued to do just the opposite and when he couldn't get his way and even play by the rules that the moderators have put down for all of our benefit, he left.

Alex, maybe you had a good mind. Maybe you have possability. However, for a DEGREED WICCAN your attitude is sickening. If you can manage to grow more, I'd be happy to welcome you back to the community. Even if you denouced your religion I would grudgingly accept you as a person. But as you were the last I knew you, you were a sickening mockery of everything beautiful about a good religion, and I for one will not miss that in the least.

Just a thought here...but...the guy is most likely gone. If not, he soon will be. WHY bash him? I say we close the thread, and move on..or...just move on in general. I know that most of you have not bashed, or anything..and some of you were downright kind, about his parting. However, I feel that the guy has left the community, or soon will. We should just respect his opinion, and move on ourselves. He hasn't posted any replies to any messages in this thread..so why keep it going? At this point, it's much more like kicking a dog when it's down, than solving any dillemma. I'm sorry..that's just MHO...But..I had to share it. I know that many of the things he said were wrong, I know that a great many of you were offended....but..he's been dealt with, and has gone. Let's forget about all of that, and concentrate on other issues.
