I feel so puzzled.
I began walking this path almost a year ago,and still don't know what i as.I know you dont have to define yourself but...
I am interested in zen buddhism.
I have slight interest in celtic history.
i have no connection with gods or goddesses.
Just don't know where i belong. :foh:
All i know for sure is that i like meditation, chakras and crystals, but that doesn't make me much of anything does it.
Going to sort out my confused mind. :ahhhh:

Good that you brought up meditation because I can't think of a better tool for sorting out who you are. Next time you are meditating try focussing on yourself ... sort out your feelings. Once you are clear on where you stand, you may find that you come across something that is just so perfectly YOU, that you can't imagine that you didn't think of it before. It may take years (took me four years to find my place), but it will happen. First step though, is to be clear in what you do believe ... that way you will be better able to evaluate what speaks to you and what doesn't.
Hope that helps :)

it takes a lot till you figure out what your beliefs are exactly.. and sometimes along the years the change..
im on my spiritual path for about 5 years now.. I still dont have all my beliefs defined absolute... all I know is that I call myself a Wiccan, because I do believe in what it teaches & stands for. But I'm an Eclectic Wiccan because I work with the Celtic pantheon of Gods, and I am very influenced by the Celtic Traditions & Celtic Witchcraft. However, I am very influenced by Kaballah as well as Christian teachings/Mysticism.
Just work on learning & exploring the areas youre interested in. Try to connect to the Gods & Goddesses through meditation. Seek answers through meditation too - I know meditation can help a lot with that.
Good luck :)

Your path does not need to be defined in an instant. as long as you are learning and growing spiritually, to me that is all that matters.. enjoy the road where ever it may lead you and when you get to your destination you will know.. If you enjoy meditating, chakras and crystals then maybe a healing path is what you will end up on.. maybe you would enjoy reiki and working with auras.. do not be in a rush to find your destination as you will miss the wonderful journey that takes you there.. Blessed Be ~Morrigan~

I have been studying religions for just about a year as well, and I don't know what I am either. But like others said, I think it's important to just keep studying, meditating, learning, and eventually everything will fall into place. At least that's what I'm hoping. ;) Good luck.

Don't worry about it so much. Many people pick pieces of different paths to follow and never really follow one path. There are also people who pick and choose from many different religions and philosophies. Zen Budisim is a wonderful philosiphy that helps one attain an inner peace. You also use crystals, which are used in many different paths. Really the only defining thing is the interest in Celtic history, but if you don't feel like a celtic pagan yourself, then maybe it's just the history that you like. Just close your eyes and wonder for awhile. If you keep activly trying to figure out what you are you will have a tough time. Just let you be you, and find the path that fits you, not a path that you fit in. If there is not path that fits you, then you need to pull out the machette and hack your own path. Remember, many people become pagans because they don't want to be a follower. Don't force yourself to be any one thing, you would just be forcing yourself to be something you aren't.

i too am still learning...i'm very much a mixture of several ideas here.LOL
christian/celtic wiccan/pecti-wita (alot of the latter). LOL gee, no wonder i even get confused.
but that's a good thing...it keeps me open to many ideas and able to learn more and want to learn more. i'm very solitary, and enjoy the mental enlightenment more than that actual physical aspects of ritual.
i've read for years various information on wicca and particularly celtic wicca. i'm learning more on pecti-wita, but i seem to lean more that way naturally. i'm also still holding those christian ties very close to my heart.
most importantly, i feel its what in our hearts and the lives we lead that is the spiritual path. if we are happy with and of ourselves, then we are being true to our path.;)

You are what you are... you're still learning! Don't worry about it... just keep studying and eventually you'll realise that you knew it all along! :D
