Sometime in the early morning, in the building right next to my place, in the very same apartment complex I live in......A murder took place. The story so far is that an elderly woman who lived in one of the ground floor units had her 50ish son visiting. For some reason we do not know of yet, a man broke into the palce and shot the man pont blank in the head. So the police and CSI are now here swarming about. This is very upseting to my family. My grqndson plays over by that building all the time. We will probably hear about on the evening news tonight.

What is upsetting to me is that during the night around 2isham, I had a dream that someone was trying to break into our place and woke up with a terrible headache. Shudder! I must have empathed on what had happened. This is so disturbing. I hope we can move awy from here soon. Well just wanted to share.

:hugz: I'm sorry, Hon. I had something similar happen a few years ago when I lived in CA. Keep an eye on your grandson. He may start having nightmares, and he may have a lot of questions about his safety and that of everyone else.

What is this world we live in coming to? Keep safe and get away from all the ruckus around there...go out to dinner or to the park...get that grandson away from the scene.

I'm so glad you're all right. You'll be fine, but keep an eye on the grandson. I'm thinking about both of you and about the poor victim and her/his murderer. Please be careful. *hugs*

Wow sugar, that is aweful. And spookily coincidental. There was a murder here laast night too. SInce I am in a rural area though I cannot say it was very "near" as it was a few km away (though still in this RM). These two people had a prostitute over and kicked the crap out of her until she died. It was aweful to hear about it. This is the 2nd murder in the past ten years in the area.
:bad:
I hope they find the person responsible soon and put your worries to rest

Thanks everyone for the love. We have now found out that the man who was killed knew the assailent and it was a bad situation according to the newspapaer and the tv news. Yikes yes we made the TV news here in Utah. We are all fine, but I have to admit yesterday I felt just horrid. I was alone with the baby for a while while my GS went to his doctors appointment. I felt very uneasy. The police and the CSI and the K-9 corps was here all day.

The man who did the deed is now behind bars. We are very sad however for we now know the mans mother who had lived in the flat with him had just died two days before. It is very sad indeed.
