Glass is made of sand, sand is small stones. So do you work with glass like stones? Or has anyone thought about this before?

Do you mean physical properties or spiritual.

As to spirtual, It has a spirit, in my view, as any one or anything else does. To me an objects spirit is no differant than ours.

As to physical properties it depends on the type of glass.

When you find glass on the beach, it's usually naturally polished. This is commonly referred to as "Beach glass". I have a bucket of pieces. :D

EDIT: Oops, you meant rocks.....err....nevermind then. :P

I used to have a small polished mineral glass ball and I used it for divination purposes. It worked really well for me.

You know, I never even stopped to think of that! I never knew the properties of glass, but I always thought it came about in almost the same way as plastic. I don't think I would feel as comfy working with glass as I do with stones, but I am starting to think that one can work with anything one want's if
you use your will or intention. I have an egg made of translucent glass that is said to soak up negetivity. I got it because it was sooo pretty! Is glass known to do that?

i'm not sure if this is what you mean but i rub olive oil on my beach pebbles, it just makes them look nicer, as if they were wet.

What properties do you feel it has?

Well, it has ties with fire, because it's made from heated sand. That's pretty much all I can think of...

WHOA!!! I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS WITH SOMEONE LIKE 5 MINUTES AGO!!!

sand is basically sillicon dioxide that's been stained by iron. silicon dioxide is quartz.

So if sand is just quartz thats turned orange from the iron in sea water, then I say that glass is a form of quartz.
