My Basil just croaked, and my Lady's Mantle is on it's way out... There is some kind of bug eating them... My Pop-pop told me to use Rotenone on it, any info on this?

Do you know what kind of bug? Check the underside of the leaves. You can try a mild soap spray & see if that helps. Usually that works if the bugs are still on the plant. An infusion of rhubarb leaves & soap will help too.

Another thing I've started using this year is Neem oil. I am really quite impressed with it! It's a natural oil & I water it down & pour it around the base of the plant. It seems to prevent my plants from being chewed to bits! I have a patchouli plant that was eaten down to 2 inches of main stem. Now it's coming back since I've started using the neem oil. You can find it at a health food store or garden centre. I have a link to a website somewhere. I'll post that tonight when I get home. :)
