My First Post!

Hello All,

I have justed signed up and ... here I am! Not only am I new to this forum, but very new to Wicca as well. I am still in the "reading, reading, reading" phase and have yet to set up an alter...or even light a candle :)

However, I have begun greeting the Moon/Godess every evening and the Sun/God every morning. It's a beginning.

Speaking of which ( :) ) ..... does anyone know of a simple chant to be used while greeting the moon or sun, god or godess? Can I write my own in the future?

The practice of Wicca may be new to me, but "Harm None" is the way I have always tried to live my life.....so this feels VERY right to me!

You all seem friendly and helpful (I have been lurking a couple of days). Thanks in advance!

and Merry Meet. Greet the Goddess and the God how you feel you need to, sometimes I'm very formal, sometimes informal, sometimes I just sit and smile to them.

Yes, your own greeting will hold more to them than some chant someone gives you, if it's what's in your heart, it's what they want you to tell them, and remember, they've been inside you all along, they know you and love you because you are you, not because you know the words by heart.

hi, I know what you mean ,I'm just getting past that phaze and making an altar.
I have a book,I just have to find it,that has little prayers/greetings,in it for begginers.isend the page when I find ,lol but follow your heart .
