View Full Version : I Love the Sea!

Last day of my holiday today, and what a day!

I took my son and his friend to our favourite beach, a HUGE sandy beach backed with sand-dunes.

I spent some time in the water on my own, face to the sun and marvelling at the beauty of it all; I always feel so close to Mother when i'm in the sea.

The sea is usually quite calm there, but today it was really wild with waves worthy of the best surfers. All we had were our little body-boards but it was brilliant! We went out a loooong way (shallow beach) till we were only just in our depth, then rode the waves back to the beach. Funny how it took half hour to get out there and only a few minutes to get back!

Really didn't want to come back home. Oh well, back to work Monday.

I love the ocean as well...:D It is just so beautiful!

Indeed the ocean is beautiful, but I am so terrified of it. I know that it really shouldn't be terrifying, but just the idea that everything down there has a method to KILL or INFLICT PAIN upon me is just...*shudder*...Even the plants can hurt! Yet my curiosty always gets the better of me, and though I'm shaking the entire time, I just love to snorkel down in San Carlos, Mexico! However...I would probably flip out on a boat... :D

That sounds great, ladyrowan. :D:D

I love the beach too-- last few times I went, though, it was filled either with so much seaweed you could barely walk, or with remains of jellyfish. :rolleyes: Uf. :)

<--water is great, almost makes me want to brave the swimsuit racks so I can go out to the beach... almost..

i find the waters of the world enchanting. every time i go diving i think of all the wonders/secrets it holds with in itself. and wen i rise to the surface i feel like im becoming somebody else in away.

if theres remains of jelly fish there are sharks. go swimming with a shark its fun (nurse sharks) not tiger or sand or white
