Someone help me!

My darling baby girl is 6 years old today!!!!

It is breaking my heart. I am up at 4:30 in the morn posting to you all, cause I can't complain and whine to anyone else at this moment. Hubby is working...... kids are snooooooozing....... I am all alone....so alone....... *sniffle*sniffle
I just finished decorating the house and setting up her presents and making her card.
The things that we do for the beautiful children. Staying up most of the night so I can make her birthday special. I hope these guys appreciate all we go through for them when the get older and do the same wonderful things for thier own kids.

I don't want her to grow up.... she is my last one. WWWWHHHHHAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Had to cry!

Thanks for listening. I am going to plop my tired buns into bed before it gets any later(earlier??)
I will have to rise in a few hours because she is so excited about becoming a big girl. WWWWHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA again.

*computer keyboard is thoroughly soaked.....
*frizzle,frazzle, crack, snap!

Aww! :( Don't cry, babe. :) At least she's not six-teen yet. :) And I'm sure she'll remember what a wonderful birthday you gave her. :)

I know just how you feel my youngest just turned 7 and he has become so independet at times I feel so useless but then he scrapes his knee or bumps his head and comes to mom for a kiss to take the pain away. Just know no mater how big they get there are still things only a mom can do. Like kiss away the pain of am bo-bo.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate being able to wah on someone else.
:):):)

All in all(although I am tired) it has been a really good day. Started out this morning(ugh!) she came in and asked if she could open her gifts.
We headed downstairs and she opened her dolphin snowglobe(from her big brother) She loved this. She has not put it down all day.
We also gave her a Scooby-Doo sticker extravaganza, some inexpensive costume jewellery for dress up, and I can read with Phonics!ReaderRabbit cd rom.
Her coming of age(she is no longer a little child, wah!) gift.....
I had a faceted peridot pendant made at the lapidary and placed it onto a sterling chain. She loved this one. She has a special big girl necklace now, just like momma's.(she has told anyone who will listen that today:) )
The necklace in total only cost me $12.00. Not too bad.

It has kind of been grand central station around here today. People popping in all day to wish her well, and give her gifts.
Auntie&Uncle got her a gold ring with a tiny butterfly on it to commerorate her 6th birhtday, and some bath stuff from the body shoppe.
She was also spoiled enough to receive some much needed clothes for school too.
It has been a good day. I am happy that she had fun.

She has her kids party next weekend, which she is really looking forward too. We are doing a ladybug theme with an outdoor waterpark in grandmas backyard.

Well, thanks again for letting me whine at ya all in the wee hours of the morn.

I remember my mom doing that too. She is not doing it on purpose, so don't take it personally. Sub-consciously, we are never really ready to let our babies grow up. Becoming a teen is a big jump for our mom's to grab hold of.
It will get better. My mom slowing came around to the train of thought and adjusted. She realised one day that she had raised me to the best of her ability and given me the tools, I had to start making some decisions on my own. Sometimes, I screwed up big time, and others I amde the right choice. Your mom will understand that you want some space to be your person, it just may take some time. Have you tried talking to her about the way you feel? It may make all the difference in the world for you to do so.

Reanna, I remember how I felt when mine were that age, couldn't imagine them growing up, especially the second one, I wanted him to stay a child forever.
But as they get older you grow and change with them, and you start thinking that every age they're at is the best age.
My baby (16) has just overtaken me in height, he's now half inch taller than me and my first baby is 6ft 4ins! And you know what? I can't possibly imagine having little'uns around any more, and I don't miss it one little bit!
Enjoy her while she's little, but don't worry about her growing up, you've got a lovely young woman to look forward to.
