Hi all~
I'm trying to get money so I can be an exchange student to Japan for one semester next year, but I don't know what I can do to raise money. I've started selling things I don't need on ebay and having bake sales with help from my friends, but is there any other way that I could raise more than just a few hundred dollars? I need to get about half the money for my trip before my parents will consider paying for the rest of it..and the trip will cost about $12,000... any ideas? I think this would be an awesome opportunity, and I'm going to try my hardest to be able to go, so any help would be greatly appreciated!~ Thanks!!

How old are you? If you're of age, get a job. It's the best way to earn money. That way you'll earn over $10,000 a year. :D

I'm planning on getting a job, but we're moving in a month, so I'm just going to wait until we're in our new home for that. I've been doing odd jobs for people, but there are so many students in this little town that are willing to mow a lawn for $20, that I don't have much of a chance. ^^;
Any other ideas?

I checked around, and it looks like my dad exaggerated the price it would cost for me to be an exchange student. The reality would be closer to $8000, rather than $12,000. Still a whole heck of a lot of money though. @_@

Offer to do it for $19.99 :bigblue:
