Thanks for posting the links, I've been thinking about taking up Tai Chi, seems like a good palce to start:D

as far as I know, the only real way to learn tai-chi properly would be with someone else who knows it, so they can tell you if you are doing the motions correctly... but videos might help... although websites, etc will help you learn enough to know whether you want to spend the money on books/videos/instructional classes.

but.. i will say.. there are sometimes free classes or groups that meet up and do tai chi for free or maybe just voluntary donation type payments... i don't know how old you are.. or if you are in school... but back when i was in high school, someone started a tai chi club, and they did rather well.... and a lot of colleges have that kinda thing too... look around and check the local papers... you'd be surprised how many free classes are being offered sometimes...
