The Moon Spread!

This spread is for clarity when the shadows and light are confusing.

Shuffle the deck and lay out cards 1, 2 and 3.

Card 1: This card is the Moon, the numinous dream image, representing magic, mystery and original beauty, the dark and the light, the beauty of the still night and the deep shadows. This card represents ideals and desires, intentions and clarity.

Card 2: This is the reflection in the water, the clouded sight, the mirror reflecting your biases and prejudices, the skewed perspective, the imperfect translation.

Card 3: This is that which the moonlight illumines, though dimly. These are the snatches of dreams you remember, the bits and pieces of clarity, what you can see from here.

Card 4: Take this card from the bottom of the deck and lay it next to card 3. This card represents that which is still in deep shadow, that which you can't quite make out, hints and glimpses of things you don't recognize. This is the darkness and confusion, or what is confusing you.

Both cards 3 and 4 are seen through the unclear glass, the biases shown in the reflection card. By comparing the three you can help determine and further define your perspective.

3. Justice

Ideals and desires, intentions and clarity - Emotions, love, family, the full moon, financial stability, and friendship...

The 6 of Cups often represents looking to the future and missing the present. Again telling me - hey, chill out, you need a break then you can work this stuff out!

Justice - balance, and justice. The full moon, and a thoughtful, spiritual woman with a sword (she's strong). Sometimes the sword in this card represents my SO as my strength. Balance and thought always bring clarity.

Fourth is the Ace of Staffs - New beginnings and courage to stand on one's own.

Balance and new beginnings unclear through looking forward to the future. Maybe I'm missing something I know in the present or need to remember that the present is still happening and needs to finish before the future.

I asked a question ~ what will come of Paul (my bf) new Job ~ as its the other side of the country (about 4/5/6 hours away.. ) and he'll be moving over there.

1) Page of Swords ~ The solve the problem card..Need to talk about it, but also really undertsand each other and take action with our words.. Be truthfull to eachother with our feelings and try and really to be open and honest.

2) I dont know how this fits.. Knight of Pentacles.. maybe becuase hes going away ~ on horse back, hes doign it all for himself and not thinking about me that much ~ this comes first me far behind second..

3) Two of Pentacles ~ I do want him to get a job more than anything, and be happy... thats why Im ok with him taking this and going.. but I wish he wanted to settle for somehting here with me ..both working together and building our home together.

4) Eight of Cups ~ hmm weel looks as though Im going to be pondering on this for some time now (hes got a month till he goes...) Ill be fine ~ I know its best for him and therefore best for our relationship ~ he does love me but loves the thought of success more I think and besides hes young and younger in attitude than me ~ so hes got a life of love and discovery infront of him! Where am I going to fit in?.. guess Ill find out sooner rather than later..
