My best friend took me fishing as a b-day present yesterday.[And no, it's the 6th] Now every time we have gone fishing I have gotten nothing and he has all but limited out. After 4 times I was getting rather frustrated.
After 3 hours of nothing but a wet line I said "enough is enough!!!". I said a prayer to Lyr [my God of Water] asking why this was happening. I was beginning to think I wasn't meant to fish anymore and, to give me a sign if this was true or not.
To make a long story short. I caught the only fish yesterday. Not [the] salmon [of life], not a rainbow trout [which the Deschutes is famous for], but a sucker fish !!! :eek: :mad: ;) :) :D
Methinks this Gods' sense of humor is warped. But this lesson was not wasted on me. He simply said "If you are going to fish my waters and take my fish, you WILL acknowledge from whence and from WHOM they come!
