I am exhausted!

I've never filled out so much paperwork in my life. I think they invented papers for me to do! I had a TB test, got so much blood drawn I'm probably anemic.....and they found out my BP is high, so I have to go to my Dr. on Thurs. to get a note saying I'm being treated for it, but that's OK, I have to go back to the Hospital on Thurs to get my TB test read anyway.......but, all the orientation spots were filled for June 7, so I go to Orientation on the 21st instead, but I may start before then anyway.........Oh, I got badged! I must have hiked that entire hospital today!

I'm tired, heading to bed now!!

I feel your pain sister - I just got my wisdom teeth yanked (all four of them, ingrown) and they won't stop bleeding! Ick!

Hope you feel better soon! Take some time for some personal R&R - you're worth it!

I hope you both get plenty of rest--and Blondie, if the bleeding persists, to the hospital with you. I hemorrhaged when mine were pulled, and that's not an experience you want for yourself.

Know the feeling OW - just been poked n medical'd lately myself for my new job - it took me 4 hours to fill out the the forms and that was AFTER I'd been offered the job - Im still waiting for my police check to come back - thats been 6 weeks now - its a pain in the bum!!

Also recently joined a gym to try and get a bit fitter as my new job is going ot be a bit more energetic than my current one - and boy oh boy do I sleep at night at the minute - out like a light as soon as my head hits the pillow - my poor hubby says Im snoring by the time he has brushed his teeth................ :zzz:

(I had a bad encounter with one as a child, and a dentist as well, evil being, I tell ya! ;) )

I will be going through the same thing on the 16th. That's my hospital physical and they will poke, prod, inject, xray, and numerous other things. All in the name of converting from a contractor to employee.

And I ask you: I work on computers all day. Never see a patient. Why in the name of all that is holy do I have to get MMR boosters, a TB test, and have my pee checked? What can I possibly catch from or give to a computer? (and all you wise guys out there don't say a computer virus -- :eyez: - I've heard that one a million times! :bouncysmi )

Oh well. I'll be smiling when the raise shows up on my first paycheck.

I can only happen to me! So the hospital calls back this morning.......I was still asleep.......seems the first application online isn't specific enough and I have to come back and fill out a paper one for the background check.........I just got back from doing that........Now how much money do you reckon they spent on the physical, blood work, the scheduling, basically hiring me......BEFORE the background check? Why don't they do that first? Huh?

They blame the "new" system..........

OK, Went to the Dr., got a prescription for my blood pressure, went to the hospital, I got my TB test read, negative, had a message there for me from my boss to be, asking me to come by and see her.....So, if they get my background check done by tomorrow, I'll be in orientation on Mon. and be working 6am till 2 pm on Tues. Now I know I don't have any criminal record......I had to get a report for that other job I applied for first..........But I guess they have a ton of them to get done....and check references and all..........

Thanks y'all........I was pretty worried the blood work and stuff might show diabetes, but no.....I be good.......except.....Apparently I never had Rubella, so now I have to get a MMR shot too.....but they'll give me one at the hospital during orientation..........Three kids and not one OB/GyN thought to check that?

How do you reckon they're gonna screw me up now? Hell , I'm mental about now! :lol:
